Going to Amsterdam

I'm off to Amsterdam in the next couple of months. I visit quite frequently with work and take advantage. Whilst I've been over there there has been the opportunity to pick up some stuff. As far as the seeds, books etc are concerned, which are the best places to go to and where are they? Is it any better than what we can get in the UK and what are the rules on getting it into the country?

As far as legalities are concerned you can bring clones back as long as they do not have roots but that is messing with fire. If you are going to bring some stuff back as far as seeds are concerned mail them to yourself. I know a guy he sends his seeds out in candy... Smoked to much but its a candy and its round with a hole in the centre and he stuck the seeds in there and sent it through regular mail.

The name of the candy cant remember geezus my brain just is not what it used to be.

Would it be Polo's?

Can't think of anything else with a hole in.

I think a lot of people seem to be making the trip over to Amsterdam from the UK these days.

Polos? Hmmmm... generally use stronger mints (for obvious reasons) but I can see the logic in there. How about a packet of coconut rings? Same principle, bigger holes.

OK, so I take the idea of trundling through Heathrow with a packet of Sutton's finest isn't such a good idea, what with those cute labradors hanging around now.

It's not worth the risk, particularly if you get picked up at customs. I'll leave it to their imagination, but if they find soft drugs in your luggage, where are they going to search for harder stuff? Hint - not in your suitcase. In general you'd probably be ok, I'm yet to come across the use of dogs in any of the airports I've been in over the past few years, though you can still be cautioned or worse if caught in posession, particularly if you're carrying a lot of gear.

As rollitup said the best way is to mail them back to yourself, virtually no danger at all and no questions at the airport.

Do you want to know the best way to send seeds anywhere.........Hacky Sacks!!
What are they filled with? little things that look exactly like seeds, And how easy is it to put the seeds in, too easy, just push them through the little holes. Even if scanned with xray they will be too camouflaged. Easy.
