Going To Build A Grow Room

Personally I prefer to have a veg space and a flower space. It allows you to be able to maintain mother plants and clones or seedlings if you want, or to have constant cycles of vegging and flowering plants.

I used a 6x6 space for flower for years with a 4x4 tray situated so I could access most of it easily, with the extra space to move. My veg area started out about 3x6 which worked, but later it expanded to 6x6 as well so I had more movement space to work.

You can adapt whatever you build to your needs which is another nice thing about building your own room. You just have to think about how you want to grow. Make sure you account for climate control, and make sure you’ve got enough space to move or work around the plants with whichever style growing you are looking at.

Highly recommend using a dedicated breaker or two for the project at your homes breaker panel.

- A dedicated control panel/enclosure to house the controls
- Climate control: Dehumidifier to prevent mold and mildew, maybe a portable a/c with thermostat (spot cooler) with exhaust duct tied to your fans exhaust duct outdoors,
- Air circulation: A couple of Honeywell turbofans, with 2 carbon filter exhaust fans or charcoal filter style ones to prevent odors from leaking outdoors (nosy / suspicious neighbors)
PM me if you want help

Right now dealing with two 4X4 Tents with bad zippers.

Build a room just bigger than 4X8 after this grow is done.

I think he is making it where I can use a Wheelchair.

On my Grow Tents my Zippers have to be replaced.

My wife said instead of reaching Zippers why not just build a Grow Room.

Thinking of making it 4X8 venting exhaust outside. Got some silver liner to line it with.

Do I want to go with one large room or two smaller rooms?
I'm interested in this concept and going to follow along. I now grow in a 4x4 tent in a spare bedroom. Planning to also build a grow room space inside one of the garage spaces this winter. I am planning to have entire room a grow space with a smaller tent for mother or seedlings, etc. Gottta wait till our Arizona summer is finally over first. Keep us posted with the build out?

I used stick on zippers for my mini diy tent. Perfect but its a small tent. I been thinking what if the zippers give on the bigger tents.. Id look into the same thing but more heavy duty.

Just a thought but upgrading is always fun unless its too soon because the last setup wasnt that good. I love my setup now.

Id think of a grow room if my bedroom 10x10’ roughly would be good. Anything smaller idk tents might be great still.

If you need easy access that does sound nice though to re do everything.
