About 3 weeks before harvest the pH in my PPK Hydro setup shot up to 7.0 due to salt build-up in my medium. I was not able to figure it out and correct it in time. Since the plant was already stacking and had lots of trichome frost I let the plant finish while sitting in 7.0 ph water and it turned very purple while finishing which i think was due to phosphorous being locked out due to high pH.
Would this high pH cause enough stress for my plant to make seeds? I am trying to figure out how i got seeds when i dont have any males. The buds look great imo but then again this is only my second grow so im not entirely sure if my opinion is valid or not.
here is a photo of a random nug i pulled out a jar
and heres what she was looking like before chop:
did she get seeds from being stressed as a result of high pH??
Im hesitant to accept donations from patients if them finding seeds in my harvests will ruin my reputation. Is it okay to give patients frosty buds that have some seeds every now and then? I burned through maybe an ounce and have found about 10 seeds so far.
