Gold droplets on my buds - what the heck is it?

I was trimming a plant last night and noticed these little golden droplets. Three or four of them as seen in the photo, all on the same bud, except for one other spot where I found one on the underside of a fan leaf that was covered in trichomes.

Anyone know what this could be? Resin?

This is a Sour Lemon OG plant that I chopped at 74 days flowering

Its Sap(sugar) , the rare few time I've seen it I assumed it was because the plants were so healthy but I have not seen it in a long time. Are u organic ? LEDs?

I'm growing in ocean forest with very light dyno gro nutrients, under a 250w HPS and "300w" cheapo led. This is probably the healthiest plant I've ever grown, thats cool to know - I'll taste it next time, this time it'll dry with the bud I hope! Thanks for your knowledge :bigjoint:

It's called "Phloem" sap. (just kinda nice to put a name to it eh?) Good call Santa!

The cellular wall of the phloem layer is where sap is moved from the leaves down. What you see happens because a weak spot in that layer ruptures from the pressure and some of the sap flows out and hardens like blood from a wound.
It has no THC value...

Kinda cool but, meaningless really...
