First I want to apologize for posting before i completely research the problem but I'm in a hurry because my babies are hurting bad.
I left for a weekend and came back to purple growth on the stems with yellowing leaves and dark curled up tips. I myself am thinking its a N or K problem but I need any info quick. I can't post pics as my camera is broken but the symptoms are pretty straight forward. It's about 8 weeks into veg and it's about 14" which makes me think it's slow. I'm indoors and my medium is a soil mixture I made that I use but I don't use nutes and I think herein lies the basis of my problem.
Thanks for any help guys.

It seems you have answered your own question. Without looking at them and just going on what you are telling us, you need to feed your plants.

water your plant with a mixture of like 1-2tbsps molasses and see what happens, and if i remember correctly purple growth can sometimes mean it got a lil cold. hope i helped good luck

I know i figured as much Serapis, but I figured i'd ask anyway because you grow gods always know a trick or two. Oh and by the by do you know of a nute mixture I can use from Lowes/Home Depo that will work until I can get some my good shit from home?

Yes i heard the cold will turn it purple too but is this necessarily bad for it? I'm putting it indoors during the hot part of the day because the index is 110 with 85% humidity and it fried some of my bitches already!

I'd go with Schultz Plant Food or Miracle Grow plant food. Both are less than $10 and are available at Walmart, home Depot, Lowes, etc. Be careful and only use half of the recommended servings for the first couple of waterings.

Thanks for the save man. Ill try the Schultz, i've done the MG thing when I started and lets say the plants were less than optimal. But we all learn from mistakes.
