Got a few things dropping soon that have been years in the making and thought I’d share. Keep a look out for new things @gonzo_genetix

Deacon Blues F2 - (pre 98 DJ Shorts BB x Blue Satelite 2.2) I dusted a 55 day green mothers with a Blue Satelite 2.2 male. The mother smells of fresh blueberries with a hint of mint. I’m working this line to best represent the mother.

Blue Satelite Redux - (pre 98 DJ Shorts BB x Blue Satelite 2.2). The origional BS 2.2 male was a purple sativa, I’ve crossed a sweet smelling 9 week purple pheno I feel is a great representation of the 2.2’s I ran.

Kwahtro (Strawberry Cough Bx1 F2) - My F1’s are producing great representations of the SC mother, huge yields, 10-11 week flowering times and an amazing Strawberry Funk.

It has a nice hybrid heady high that you can enjoy all day long.

Aroma: Sweet, strawberry undertones with enough funk to fill your trunk. Like the famous Cheese cut, people will smell you coming from a block away. .

For me this cross was a no brainer and one I’ve worked to create over the past few years. I’ve grown the mother for a decade and wanted to make it available to as many as possible.

These are made and testing begins soon, I’ve decided not to drop Deacon Blues F2’s. I don’t think there will be enough variation in the F2’s to separate the lines so just dropping the BSR’s. The ideal pheno for the Deacon Blues was found on my F1’s so they’ll be present in the BSR F2 but I’m a generation or two out from dropping the Deacon Blues.

I did an open pollination with my best Blueberry and my best Bkue Satellite moms, F2’s are going to be fun.

Was the name of this breeder inspired from their love for the late great Dr. Gonzo (Hunter S. Thompson)?

Technically, in Fear and Losthing, Dr Gonzo was the lawyer, Hunter’s alter ego was Raul Duke. But he is also known as the creator of Gonzo journalism, so I don’t know.
 
I call the creator of Gonzo journalism Dr. Gonzo. It's interchangeable. Anyways does this mean your company is named after the great hybrid mutant Somoan in the sky? Or were you a muppets fan?

Lol well I’m actually a huge fan of both so I guess it depends on how you interpret it. I assume most will go Hunter but many may only know the muppet. Nonetheless I’ve sprinkled some Hunter into some future projects.
 
Close up shots of the momma I used to make my Deacon Blues F2, she’s a true purple, meaning she doesn’t need temperature or any other type of manipulation to purple. She begins showing purple by week 2 or 3, all of the purple pheno’s I’ve found share this characteristic.
