"How did your grow with Blue Cheese go?"
It was Skunkberry from PeakSeedsBC. It will be different than another breeder's Blue Cheese.
I found that it wasn't potent enough, I've built up a high tollerance from years of poor bud. I only flowered a few plants over a couple grows, sometimes you have to go through a whole pack of seeds to find that one great pheno that you keep as a mother. Don't discredit the strain because of my experience with a few plants. I have however found this with two other Peak strains as well, could be me more than the beans.
Relaxed stone.
The taste was mildly cheese but I didn't notice any blueberry.
Easy, easy to grow. Practically helps you take care of the other plants.
I kept a clone from the best mother, I'll run it again some day, maybe germ a few more beans to look for that special pheno.
.
Right now I buy from these breeders:
.Serious Seeds (5 strains: "If all I could smoke was Serious bud for the rest of my life I'd be a happy man" - common comment by those who grow serious strains)
.Subcool (TGA) (potent strains for the medical community)
.Elite (potent clone only crosses)
.Reservoir (hard to get any variety, most beans sell out the same day they're listed)
.DJ Short (legend. The man for blue)
.BOG (legend. Phenominal med strains)
.Dr Greenthumb (clone only and hard to find strains)
.PeakSeedsBC (easy to grow, stable plants)
There are lots of other breeders who are great but these guys caught my eye because of great reviews by growers. Some have great prices too.

"I had read about Subcool's strains before and they do sound quite impressive, especially for the price."
For the medical community - high quality / low price. I've got his Jack The Ripper, JillyBean (Mz Jill-TGA), and Pandora's box on order, should be in this week. Add that to Elite's Super Strawberry Diesel that's vegging, Rez's Killer Chemdog waiting to germ, and Serious Kali Mist and Bubblegum flowering and I'm going to have quite a garden. I've bumped Barney's Red Diesel because it hermies, and isn't very good. Dr Greenthumb's Big Laughing might not be cloned for a while if the new strains turn out as nice as they sound.
