Nay! You only have about half as much stem as you want. See the branch where your thumb is touching
a leaf? Follow it back and cut the main stem right below where that branch meets the main stem. The more
sets of leaves you trim off the stem the better. Also, if you are using rockwool cubes you can get away with a clone
as short-stemmed as the one you propose. I would make sure I had twice as much stem for pellets.

Go ahead and top her now. If you wait another week or so the secondary branches will be large enough to use as clones too.
That's the way I would go.

Good luck, BigSteve.

The plant looks healthy enough that i'm sure it would root just fine. Personally, I like to cut past the third nod.

With clones be careful to cut (top) between nodes (inter-nodal) not in the node stretch that a clone has.
When cutting a clone to be started in soil I always cut right below the 3rd node from the top of the main stem or side branch, then cut off both the fans and branches of the lowest node, both these scares will be prime root starting points.

You need to put a fan on her, she could be four times that big.I counted six node's though and that's my rule.I SCROG most of my grows and FIM at six nodes.WattSaver, I used to think the cut had to be in a certain place too but now I can cut em anywhere they just root.8 days max and roots are showing out of my rapid rooters.I make several small cuts on the branch and dip.Things did get better after I started using the Rapid Rooters.
