How many plants will be in there?, I think you will want more than 125Watt of light if you plan on having more than 1 plant.

Nice little set up to get started, as mentioned, don't forget the fans, you should be able to grow 2 plants sufficiently.

Thanks everyone for your responses.
This will be my first grow, therefor only 1 plant maybe 2.
And not sure what an exhaust fan is. I Have a little fan that I will install in the tent.
Its bigger than a pc fan and can adjust the speeds.
Thanks.

If you are going to be growing in soil then no need for the pH up/down. Spend that money on some worm castings and dolomite lime to add to your soil mix. pH should never be an issue if you do so......

Being your just getting started I would go soil for sure. Check with your local nursery to see whats available. Or you could get a bale of peat moss, a bag of perlite and the EWC and lime as mentioned. Make a mix of 1/3rd each peat moss, EWC and perlite. To this base mix add 2-3 tablespoons of dolomite per gallon of medium and water to well moistened. Let cook for a couple of weeks mixing it a few times and you will be good too go. 1 tablespoon of Espomas Garden Tone(get it at most Home Depots ect)per gallon of medium and your good to go with just water for the first 3 weeks or so of the grow.

I use Espoma garden tone but i use it with fox farm ocean forest/happy frog soil and i mix 1/2 a 5 lb bag into 1 bag of soil.
the lime comment i couldnt agree more with. as well as the PH up and down.

my suggestion. if you have the money grab up something like this instead of that CFL

http://www.amazon.com/Apollo-Electronic-Dimmable-Reflector-Hydroponic/dp/B00521B894/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1357832724&sr=8-4&keywords=600w+apollo

with the money saved from the light and the PH up and down plus the money you wont have to spend on more CFL's later on down the road this light is just a little more than what your already sinking into lighting and will be a great light for a few grows, 3 year warranty on ballast its a no brainer.

also you may want to look into the 48x48 tent LED wholesalers has its only 40 bucks more and im sure after your first grow you will wish you did. and 4x4 is ideal size for a 600w light.

I realize your probablly on a budget and i can understand that. My opinion from experience trying to grow on a budget is save the money you have now, and add to it when you can. when you have the money to buy a nice light and tent do it. its worth the wait because later on down the road your going to want that 600w light and a bigger tent i can gaurentee it. this is such a addicting hobby and your always going to want to expand and improve. if you save the money now and get a good light and tent, later on down the road when you want to expand you can spend your money on other stuff like Co2 or fans/filters, better soil, better genetics.....there a huge list i could make of everything that can go into a grow room.

that light would work for one smaller plant but you will want more light come flower i ran 200 actual watts per plant my last grow 400 watts total and yielded just about 6 ozs also with the floranova all you really need is the bloom you can run it veg to flower that what i do with great results
