Good idea or bad idea?

It's been three days and I have noticed a change in the growth of this little plant. If you look at the photos you'll notice that lot's of little tops from the underlying nodes have grown larger and more prominent. These would be all those that are adjacent to the two main tips.
I'm not going so far as to say that this method of topping is 100% effective and results will be consistent with every plant. However I can say without a doubt that the underlying nodes have grown larger and stretched further towards the light source since I capped the two main tips. Again, this can't be verified 100% as this could very well be the pattern of growth for this particular plant so I will continue to test this method. If I may, I'd like to ask if anyone would be willing to try similar experiments and post back the results. It would be invaluable to see how this might effect plants in different environments and mediums. I understand any compliance would most likely be further down the road but the request will remain here for any others who happen across this thread. Thanks for all who posted. Pax. :peace: 1- first day 2- yesterday 3- yesterday 4- this morning -5 this morning 6-this morning

This is an update. I removed the eggshells after about 5-7 days and let the plant grow for another few days. This is the new updated picture of the same plant. She was topped once just after the second node a week before the eggshell caps were applied FTR. She is one hell of a bushy lady that's for sure and she is only about 36 hours into flower so I am anticipating a huge take off!! Good luck on all your grows and when I start again I'll be trying this method on several different plants to get a proper understanding of it's potential. Come to think of it I'm taking clones today so maybe I will have more results in as little as a month from now. :peace:
