I have used Pro Mix for SS and it worked just fine..

"True Living Organics"by The Rev. It's an easy and interesting read, and provides some excellent information - including soil mix(es) - for basically water only small container organic soil growing. It's not a lot of money but almost certainly, you'll learn quite a bit.

BTW, if you are using straight tap water, I would look at getting better water - RO is one way. There's nothing more basic to life than water.

I don't live in city I get well water. A ro sytem was something I was thinking about getting.

May I suggest Lumii grow glasses for $20. I use method seven glasses but I've been told Lumii works just as well. Save your eyes and save your plants (from deficiencies).
