Fungus gnats - cover the top of the medium with perlite and stop overwatering. They arrive in a lot of bagged mediums. It won’t kill the present larvae but after they’re done quick there won’t be anymore. Diatomaceous earth used liberally as a top dressing keeps crawlers away. Caterpillars etc. Stale beer is perfect for getting rid of slugs. Open a can and pour half out. Bury it with the top even with the medium or your outdoor plants. Replace it as it fills with drowned slugs.I'm new to growing and was curious if there were any natural ways to get rid of fungus gnats (which currently somewhat reside in my potting soil) and other unwanted pests and vermin I am considering essential oils does anyone have any info on this
