Good place to buy a light online?

I've been looking for a while, and they all differ. But, I know that if I came here, you guys would know exactly where to get the cheapest one.


So, I'm looking into a 250W MH or HPS.

I'm only going to be growin' say 6 plants max, at any given time with this thing. So, wattage has to be around 250. I don't want to cause any energy spikes...

So, any help would be appreciated. :)

It would depend on your grow I think 6 is asking alot of a 250. I have 4 under 400 but they are bushy. I bet a good SOG or something clone to flower I could do 6 - 8.

Mr I Can Do That For Half
You can just get a 400 watt switchable digital ballast at Maryland Hydroponics for $99.Its uses about same amount of electric as 300 watts and if left on 24 hours aday barley registers maybe bill goes up 10 bucks at most. It run mh and hps bulb no need for conversions and they overdrive it to about 430 watts actual output.They have 250 watt one but might as well get the 400 for better growth
