Pretty much the same reasons here. I found him extremely shallow and annoying. He was an icon of our age and I often wondered what that meant.

Yup and that is one of the dichotomies that interested me from my parent's generation. How could anyone enjoy that? Yet he had good qualities too, even if they were not PC. He tried, but with flawed perspective, almost culturally tone deaf.
