Damn. Half of it looks like a checker board.Anyone else Google where you live, and find yourself struck with horror how obvious your super-stealthy grow is from the air?

Yeah, it took a month to clear that area, and I got a little carried away with the first grow. Plus lots of other rookie mistakes. But my heart sank when I was looking at my house on Google, and off to the side I see THIS!Damn. Half of it looks like a checker board.
Yes, that's the highest resolution. It actually is stealthy, it's practically inaccessible from ground level, and it's surrounded on three sides by tall woods. But if you're straight overhead...is that the highest resolution? looks stealthy!
I'm guessing you're legal, though. That looks nice.
I found this picture using Google. Bing had pictures that were three years older. Just try a few different search engines. The google picture above just happened to be from July of last year, so in a sense I was lucky with the timing.humm
i just tried to find my place to see if you could see how close my grow was or how far anyway
but the only thing i got was a satellite image that was over 10 yrs ago
where do i go to see a current image ?
No, if I were to do it again (clearing brush) I'd leave almost everything intact, reduce the height on the brambles immediately surrounding the plants so they'll have enough sunlight, but disrupt the surrounding vegetation as little as possible. And this year I'm growing just a few plants. Either I was really lucky last year, or it's true what some people say, that around here (NY) they won't bother a small grow on private property. I really don't want to push my luck.do you have to clear large areas like that? there are way to many helicopters they will find them in my area easy.
