Hey, here is a few pics of my Reeferman Pink Kush. Its 8 weeks and 4 days into flowering. Advanced Nutrients fed. 3 Gallon pot.
Looking very beautiful. Smells like a bouquet of cut flowers. Until you touch it, then it absolutely reeeeks of wet soil and earth. Rock hard buds. Frosty. Sticky. Dank
Trichs are 30% clear, 70% cloudy, no amber yet. When is best time to harvest kush? Its my first kush (not counting chocolope kush, which was a sativa pheno).
Peace and keep smokin:weed:
Just harvested a bubblegummer 3 days ago...stay tuned for pics and harvest report....ps. i got the bazooka joe bubble gum pheno :-o yay!

The second picture is... whoa.
What Purple! whAAAT!!

I'd have one growing always alongside any strain I grow.
Definitely the most beautiful I've ever seen.

If only there was a blue strain!
Purple and blue!:weed:

...and some glittery yellow. Golden.

Itd be a good one to have as a extra plant with a grow, it doesnt take up too much room, although this one is only in a 3 gallon pot, topped once. Looks like it will yield at least 2 ounces, so a larger one would be a good yielder. I havent measured it lately but it looks to be about 19 or 20 inches tall. A 3 or 4 footer would be an impressive looking plant to say the least. I will probably put one or 2 outside for my first guerilla grow in the forest.

Supposedly there are a few strains that can turn a nice blue colour. http://www.marijuana-seeds-canada.com/collections/blue-marijuana-strains ..some of the blueberries in the right conditions, blue mammoth, blue mystic...just depends on the pheno, and you would more than likely need some cooler temps. I run a 30degree F temp difference between my day/night temps. Do this last 2-3 weeks of flower and if the plant has some nice colours, they will probably show. I turned a Northern Lights from Nirvana into a frosty purple hued beauty using the temp difference.
People say ideal grow temp is 76 day/70 night. I find, IMO, for me, they do better a bit hotter, 82-85,F day, and cooler nite/dark at around 65F for first 5 weeks of flower then i let it get colder for last few weeks, 55-60, nice and cool. Either way if it doesnt turn purple, the cool air lets the plant know its growing cycle is over and to finish up flowering, and the light stress from low temperatures probably makes more resin (maybe :-) ). Keeps your plants off the floor if you let it get cold at night, roots dont like direct cold.
Peace

Thanks for the tips!
But, what does full term mean?
Complete flowering?
Yes i mean dont pick it early. if it says its an 8 week strain, its 9 or 10 weeks for sure, I almost picked my romulan diesel a week ago, at 8.5 weeks, and i decided not to and its put on a huge amount of weight and resin in the last week and still going strong. its an '8-9 week strain too. ya rite more like 10 or 11. Those times on the seeds company sites are for marketing and to sell seeds.

I used to pick my plants early too, go by what the seed co says. You lose a huge amount of yield usually. If your a gram a day smoker, 10-15 bucks, just go buy a half Z of weed and wait to harvest, its worth it, youll get more than a g of growth a day.

Were the trichomes already ambering at the time (8.5w) you decided NOT to harvest?

Also, a g a day... :weed: thanks. That's something to keep in mind to refrain myself.

There were about 10% amber trichs.
I looked today and they are around 30%. I saw a couple nanners starting so she got picked today. She reeks and is super sticky. Big old foxtail buds. Still in the process of trimming 2 and a half hours later. Its a real bitch to trim with all those foxtails. Ill get some pics up tomorrow. It really put on some bud size in the last few days.
