Gorilla Cookies by Expert Seeds......

Hey Rik......yeah, we discussed the oil a bit. He actually has been baking my product in some cookies and such, but he feels it's been effecting his job performance as they are quite strong. He's never done oil, I don't think he understands what it's all about.......

7. I see Expert Seeds came out with a few more G.G.#4 strains, well worth consideration when you compare their prices to others. Their G.G.#4 does appear to be the real deal.

I ordered a 10 pack of expert GG#4 fems but got email saying they only had 7 seeds left so hope they are decent

Mine was a hybrid of G.G. #4, and the only G.G. #4 strain they had at the time. Now, they have 4 more G.G. strains, including a straight G.G. #4 (not a hybrid).......so did you order what I had or the straight one? Either way, my point was the breeder of these is doing a fine job, it's off the real deal cutting and I think you'll be happy. I know I am!!!!!!

Back for a very last review.....not much to add. People have commented that there's not much smell from the buds, I felt the same way, it's just not a stinky strain when cured and am wondering if a straight real deal G.G. #4 is???? Cut or break up a bud though, the resin glands go flying and you get a spicey nose hit that instantly screams GOOD POT. It's is extremely resiny, top to bottom. It really leans to the sativa side buzz wise, a wonderful morning and afternoon strain- maybe too strong. But a single bong hit and I'm good for the afternoon. I go to the Zombie Virus in the eveining, a very nice pairing. Expert Seeds, I'll be seeing yah...........

I keep pondering on how similar this strain is to some good C99 I've had in the past........I smoke it and the C99 keeps nudging me. C99 might be a bit racier, but they're close.

Last thing......my backstock numbers are rising and I'm thinking about doing a grow JUST FOR ME.......at 60+, I deserve a "me" grow before I get alzheimer's. Maybe finally get to some Grand Daddy Purple I've always wanted to do, or maybe Dr. GreenThumb's E.C. Sour Deisel......or maybe 24 different indica strains as a test. HUM..........

Looking OK, you can improve your final product by incorporating better flushing.
You need to start about 3 weeks before harvest. Either use just large amounts of water or add empty chelates to help strip off nutrients from the substrate.
The leaves should look yellow and nasty by the time you are done. This produces the best smoke, clean soft white ash, and smoothest pull.

You could suggest he watch "Run from the Cure" on youtube. It's not the most scientific video, but there's at least a few people in the video had good success beating cancer with ingesting hash oil. I wouldn't make it with Naptha like Rick Simpson does, but otherwise it's a good intro film for the usefullness of using hash oil in fighting diseases. And he can goolge "hash oil and cancer" and come up with all sorts of info. I think cookies might be stronger feeling that just straight hash oil so he might do better just eating some hash oil.

The plants got plenty of flushing......and were basically yellow at the end. You notice I never put up pic's the last few weeks, as they lost their green coloring and went yellow. Taste was not an issue, very spicey.

Amazing grow, looks like a good strain, do you think its over 20% of THC like they state? could somebody share a link where to order this from an official website?

Good looking plants .fixing to sprout these seeds myself .

One thing I do for mites as I get them as well from the promix is I have a pump sprayer with nothing but water . Once every few days I spray a mist of water on the plants .if their are mites you will see as the water looks like crstals in the light dangling off those tiny webs.
As long as you catch them early you can just spray water on the plants 2x a day if you have low humidity . Otherwise I spray 1x a day with my higher humidity. Spraying water on them will kill them but the challenge is getting under the leaves .
I remember many years ago how rain will kill mites naturally because they wash off the plant and their body will burst from the excess moisture .

I have several plants in the last week I've found mites on and I've sprayed water on em every day now for 4 days and haven't seen any progression of mites.
I know it's hard to use chemicals on a flowering plant

Has anyone grew out the expert GG#4 I have 3 going was wondering if they stretch at all when flip to flower?

There is a thread on here called "Anyone Do G.G. #4" or something like that on here that will give you a lot of info on G.G. #4.......I did the G.G. #4 hybrid and it's journaled on here too (called Gorilla Cookies)........look under SSHZ.

I just wanna get this out there... Don’t buy this strain. It is very weak and very unstable. All 4 seeds I popped were mutated, literally mutated. Two of them the leaves were twisting, one of them had a leave with an extra tip growing out of the side (the most obvious mutation), and the other naturally grew 3 branches at each node, which is great because it was naturally bushy, but the strain is weak and very susceptible to infestations and diseases. My buddy lost his to damping off very easily. My 4 got to about 3 weeks old then got INFESTED with these weird tiny worms/caterpillars. I had a strawberry banana by Reserva privada right beside them and the gorilla cookies is the only ones that remained infested, I eventually threw them out to avoid ruining my strawberry banana. It’s a shitty, unstable, weak strain and I do not recommend it. I had such high hopes for this strain after everything I read, but nope.

I just finished their Sweet Zombie, a Zombie Virus hybrid that was decently good. Not great, not overly potent, but still a nice grow, good yield, and an easy grow. I think the Gorilla Cookies is their best selling indica strain, and it's their most expensive one too.

I started 25 seeds, all popped, within 3 days. The below picture is today at day 20 in veg. I already pinched once, as I expect the plants to grow rather tall (from the Gorilla Glue #4) and expect to start flowering them in a week or so. I may do some more pinching or pruning this week, just depends. I'll post updates weekly.....by the way, I had just watered a few hours earlier so the plants are a bit droopy, but not for long.
