My first grow was roughly a decade ago. Picked up a "J1" clone locally, and started with the GO Box (General Organics Bottled Nutrients). I fed a bit too much because of being a noob, but other than that, the taste was solid, the nugs were frosty, and the yield was pretty good for being under inadequate lighting.
I was insanely happy and felt super fulfilled when I got to smoke something I grew myself from a clone for the first time....hard to replicate that first harvest feeling, but a particularly terpy/high yielding harvest is close.
I've learned a shit ton since then, and still strive to learn something new every week, or every day if possible.
