The best genetics, and most consistent, I ever found was the old Reserva Privada Kosher Kush. When I ran her long, 13-15 weeks as opposed to her usual 10 she was a sledge hammer for sleep.

I use to vend for her after Josie died, straight fire… Much loveI've have her and reversed her. She reversed so nicely I can find her usually within 10 seeds. I hope you love her as much as I have. That looks exactly like the cut. Anyway I'd reverse her so you have some seeds and make sure you share her clones out with everyone you know so if you ever lose her you can reach out to a friend to get her back.
@Laughing Grass found her in the only 1 seed that survived the Canada Post. I look forward to seeing how you grow her.

which knock off seeds did you run?
i had a 6 pack of GG4 from blimburn at the beginning of the year (an honorable mention list strain for abuela) and had high hopes for them. first seed popped but couldn't shed its helmet and died. none of the rest of the pack popped.
i got some el cheapo white label "backups" from NASC, but always open to suggestion of better cuts. (i don't think shoreline had GG4, and his spot on strainly is currently empty)
i have not tried to pop the white labels yet. no space for them.

It's been a long time but back then I bought from Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds and it was probably a S1 or cross. It was one of my better first grows. I just popped a Blue Dream seed I've had since 2016 from the same company and it has really nice growth and structure in veg so far.which knock off seeds did you run?

blue dream. nice! good luck with that one. will definitely want to see what you've got going on.
blue dream is a good one. it's made my (will re-grow this one) list - good flavor, great buzz. helps with chronic pain and allows higher brain function and focus.
i'm probably going to run some more of those GOG blue dream autos over the winter. the jar is really getting low.
i have some fem/photo blue dream seeds on deck for next year outdoor. that one is going to get some TLC.

I would love to get some seeds off the GG but would’t want to seed the whole plant, which I think would happen by reversing it….but I’m hoping for a couple seeds in the bottoms buds which I normally find 3-10 within a plant. Now if I could find some GG4 pollen (that someone else harvested) that would be ideal. I only grow for myself and indoors so probably wouldn’t want to reverse a whole plant in a tent indoors. Unless I’m missing something with the process (colloidal silver etc.)
My favorite for before bed was one called Bio-Chem. I just called it weighted blanket because that’s what it felt like lol oh so nice too. Didn’t grow it but would love to.

Did you play with harvest times at all like see how it was @ 60, 70, 80 days etc? Curious what terps are brought out or lost at different harvest times.

Have you ever pulled GG before 70? I know the cup (one of them lol) was won with a 63 day chop. I am only growing it this one time so I wanna nail it in the smell & flavor dept. So far it’s smelling mighty fine

For a 5x5 I don't think so. My PPFD in the corners is not that far off from the middle. I assume that it would be significantly lower around the edges and corner with a bar light.
I came from a 6 bar light and moved to HLG panels from her grows! I'd used HID since '96. Took a lot to make me move. I believed the bar lights would have less heat build up in spots. But my HLG panels are fabulous. I run HLG's Scorpion Diablo X. Although I've looked at their new Tomahawk offering that is close in spectrum to my X but I'm waiting for @shnkrmn 's review on it. He's a really good grower too.

Dave’s (AK) is a really good dude, and yes has a massive old school catalog of plants… I tend to take her down somewhere between 9 weeks and 10 weeks which would be right in that zone, no big terp changes for me just take her when she’s ready.

Do they get hot when you have them at 340watts or full blast? I can't believe they moved to a 0.09 inch heat sink in their newer design with the reflectors... those you have are right around 0.197inches.

I prefer to think of it as bar lights have significantly less of a central hot spot and thus a more even distribution of ppfd so the opposite analysis to yours! But I'm in a 4x4 so there's that.
