4X4 Gorilla grow tent.
6" Gale Force exhaust fan 412cfm
Covert carbon filter 6"x20" 450cfm
6" clip fan
10" corner oscillating fan
floor fan 10"...............fans used as needed.
KindLED 750W grow light adjustable.
Sears humidifier: used periodically when needed.
2 X Hydrofarm 2 outlet timers.

For germinating/seedling.
2' 4 bulb T5 agrigrow light.
and of course trays and clear covers.

Covert carbon filter 6"x20" 450cfm. My plants are not to the smell good stage yet, however; this filter should work great in the 4X4 space. Thanks for reminding me, I added that info to the original thread.

That light needs to come wayyyy down. I've kept metal halides that run hotter than any LED closer than that. Put your hand right over the top of your plant, between the light. If you can't feel heat neither can the plant. BUT with what I've learned about LEDs they generate less heat but can cause other sort of light poisoning situations. What I've heard, and decided to do myself, is to keep the light 14-16inches away from the top of the plant

Lol....The light currently is sitting at 28" from tops. My very first attempt with a test plant I put into tent full power all the way up and the plant was a crispy critter in less than a day...So I have been lowering it and adjusting the intensity to find the sweet spot. Currently it is 28" at 23%red 40%blue 40%white. Your experience with LED you would recommend lower?

^this, they'll stretch like hell with the light that far away


it depends on the light, how close you can get, you just have to keep a close eye on them till you figure your light out. if they start to show signs like heat stress with no heat, thats too close

I would watch how they stretch, if the seem to be stretching a lot, lower it some more, but I wouldn't go past 14in. But always remember, if your hand at the top of the plant gets to hot, then your plant is cooking as well.
With what I've experienced recently I'd drop it down to 24in and go from there. The plants will tell you what they need if you look for the right things.

They are stretching a bit at 28". lowered to 20" will watch close. Intensity I will keep the same for now at 23%red 40%blue 40%white. Thanks for the advice

No problem man. I had lots of help with my first go. LED is tricky for a first time grow.
Are you leaving them in those pots?
Do you plan on doing any kind of low stress training or topping?

No, Just trying to get them out of Seedling stage then into a 3 gal pot. I have 1 gal but am going straight to a 3 gal so I can minimize transplanting.
I plan on topping one of the 2 bigger White Widows after I get 5-6 nodes. Will top it just above second node and LST the others with advice from here...lol

Sounds like you have a pretty good idea how you want to go about it. You'll get a lot of advice on here, but also a lot of opinions disguised as advice haha. I'm sure you'll find what works for you though

I really do appreciate advice. When I use what I see here I monitor it closely and adjust as needed. My goal is not too burn down or drown my girlies.

Yea. On my first grow, my main focus was getting them to bud and finish. I didn't experiment to much, but once you get that part down the experimenting can be just as fun in my opinion. I once trained a plant so that it made a "Z" like Zorro haha

haha...I am like a sponge at this point. I take it all in. Already looking forward to the second and subsequent grows. I need to get through this first one successfully first then get fancy...
