Gorilla growing tip!

One of my outdoor growing tips is this. Use thin weak cotton thread and make a circle around your plot. Tying the thread to trees or shrubs. If someone unknown stumbles upon your grow they will break this thread when walking by. Make it at knee high. This is a signal that a veteran outdoor grower told me about that he has used and it has worked for him.

Thats a good idea. I have been taught a different method. My sites are clearings in the middle of the woods, and have thick brush and lots of pricker bushes surrounding them, and there are only about 2-3 access points to get threw the brush. So i break down small or dieing trees in such a way that it covers the access points, normally one tree per point.

this way, i know if it was human OR animal that went into my garden. The animal would jump over the tree, or under, but most likely wont ever touch the tree branch or move it.

but if it was a person wondered into your garden, he would move the branch or tree that is blocking where he wanted to walk threw. so the tree would be either on the ground completely or out of the way.

I think it is guerrilla growing.... I haven't met any gorillas that can grow plants... :)
Im a gorilla and I grow... thats what my wife says hahahahaha! Either way it might be a good idea to know if animals are coming into your crop as well.

Yea, I saw the anti-deer thread pack for sale at walmart. Includes a shotgun and Harness to strategically place it to fire when the line is broken. They noted that this would provide the follow positive results: a) an audible alarm that will alert you to the presence of a deer in your yard b) scare away other near by beasts .. And c) dinner. :D

this doesnt sound like a good idea. Animals (moving around the forest ,strong wind ,trees branches falling etc, will break the cotton on a regular basis, making you think that someone is watching your patch. in turn u will panic and do something stupid. Dont worry ,with experience you will know if a rip off is on to your patch, by your trail.
