My baby Blues turned 3 weeks old yesterday, just gave them their first nutes. I have switched from Fox Farm to GH to see if I can get a better run with these. 1/4 strength on the nutes along with a dose of Superthrive.
My little baby Blue Mystics are 4 weeks old to day, and one has confirmed it is an Autoflower she popped a few pistols. The others are still going strong but I do have one that just won't grow up.
This is a Bag Seed Mexican that has been in flower for 7 weeks, started it in DWC and transplanted to Mirical Grow Compost and grew it outdoors for 3 weeks once it showed pistols brought it home and stuck it in the grow tent to flower. I figure I have about 2 more weeks to go, I have it under 616 watts of CFL's
Here is a few shots of my girlfriends "Dump the seeds in a pot method of growing" I did some LSTing on them in hopes of getting more bud. These were the 3 strongest plants out of 8 that came up, by the way I did pull all the males. Definately a guessing game as to what you get from "Bag Seed". This is a shot of my Mkage part of my first attemp at growing and some LST This is also part of my first grow with Bag Seed, an experiment with topping, lolly popping, LST and DWC One of the tops on my little Mexican
hey Tx....while I was away for a little while I was excited to come back and see how your babies were doing. They are just as I expected....wonderful. Boy those roots sure are clean....I wanna learn to play in the water too....lol! Psyched to be back and to see your babies flower I've heard mixed reviews about the Blue Mystic, it was my plan B if I didn't get Bubblelicious, so being here for yours is like I kinda get BOTH...HAHA!
I've never really seen a DWC grow until I found yours.....you've sparked my interest and now I shall learn a little from you Thanks!!!
Playin is exactly that when you start out with DWC. I'm thinkin I'm going to stick with compost or soilless mix as I seem to get better results, at least better yields. DWC is pretty labor intensive, especially if your nutes aren't balanced or you aren't using RO water. Keeping the pH just right can drive you nuts. Though I must admit I did learn alot about growin doing DWC and compost together.
Okay, it's time for the weekly update. 6 weeks old today, decided to open them up a bit and did alittle LST on a couple they have pistols at each node and branch site, but no real flowering yet. Really hoping these ladies start buddin out soon hate to think I have to change the light cycle to make it happen. But in the mean time I'd like to give you a peek at my next grow and they aren't auto's germ'd them sunday and they were up yesterday a pair of White Widow x Big Bud.
I stopped posting here in cfl because my cfl grow box is boring, have not been cloning and have some clone ready to go flower. I have a harvest coming up soon have a thread on HARVESTING and CURING. Have been on rollitup just posting less... and learning alot. will post some pics in my cfl thread
You are not the only one lookin for bud, 6.5 weeks and no sign of real flowering. Thinkin I got short changed on the auto side but should be some nice Blue Mystic.
Looking good!!! You're makin me wish I still had some seeds from the mexibuds I got in Arizona a couple years ago. I've been kinda quiet lately but I'm about 2 weeks into flower with the 600 in the tent and I made a small bubbler 6 clone setup. I took the cuttings 2 days ago so tomorrow will be the 1st peek to see if roots have popped yet. Once they're done I can switch lids and start 1 as a DWC experiment. Good luck with the ladies and may the bud gods smile upon them.
Thanks Brat, someone got to smile on me as I just got news today that my auto's aren't really autos at all it seems you have to go 12/12 to get them to flower. So tonight I rearanged things and got them in the tent to flower out at 12/12. Pretty upsetting to think you are buying something and find out you are just a 1/3rd of the way through your grow when you expected to be halfway.
These are them at 6.5 weeks old just before they came out of the closet and into the tent.
