I use E27 LED too (3000k & 6500k).$12 bu whatever, it's high CRI and facing the right way so just curious what it will do
They work just fine for bloom.
I buy mine off eBay for $0.80/30w LED, or 100 30w-er's for $80. They sell them in quantities of 20 for around ~$35 (prices change often).
The new LED options run considerably cooler and make heat management much easier. With my 19 bulbs in a 2'x4' tent, I use a 400cfm fan + filter exhaust combo in order to keep temps within range.
You wouldn't believe it, at least I didn't until I saw the lights in person, but the new QB LEDs are WAY brighter than the E27 LED, or at least mine. That aside, the E27 LED will grow just fine, it's what I've used personally for the past few years, they are just not as efficient, but also much cheaper up front, a true 300w light for $30 is tough to beat.
EDIT: maybe try to remove globe cover? I wonder how much light that cover is absorbing?
