I may be wrong, but I suppose I'd call it a mix of both. The bowl itself is heated, so that is more like conduction vaping. But when you draw a hit, you actually draw "through" the bowl like convection vaping. I think of the I-inhale like the Vapman vaporizer, but with an automatic, thermostatically controlled heater that prevents you from ever burning the herb.Is that a convection vape or conduction sorry if i missed it, for convection and that size 250 is a good deal
If you want portable vaporizing, I think this is the way to go. I've tried the Vaporgenie/VaporStar type vapes (where you suck a flame through a ceramic "heat dispersal" type bowl). They all give me headaches. I"m not sure why. I suspect it's because I have to constantly inhale butane exhaust with those, much more so then if I actually light the herb in a pipe. Or maybe it was the material they were made of. I don't know.
There are battery powered vaporizers like this, but from the reviews I've read they are either made of cheap, bad tasting plastic, have erratic thermostats that sometimes burn or don't vape at all, or burn through batteries fairly quickly (meaning they stop holding a charge so you can't re-charge them any longer).
I enjoy the outdoors too much to invest in an expensive vaporizer that I have to use in my house or car. I mean, I eventually would've bought one just for health reasons. And I still may buy one to compare this too if I never meet someone with one that I can try out.
But honestly, I feel like with the I-inhale I don't even need a "real" plug in model. I use it in my house, because it tastes good, gets me high, and the herb doesn't come out black or green. I use it outside because I can walk down the street in front of police (like I did yesterday) talking into it like it's a walkie talkie... and then hit it all stealth like I'm chewing on the "antenna" or something... and then laugh as I exhale THC at the sons 'o bitches
