Got Myslef some t8 fluros...

So, i got these 3 socket(each of them holds 2 fluros) from a mate:mrgreen:....
One fluro is 58 watt, so in one socket is 116 watts of cool whites.....
What ya think with growing with these t8s??

You cant see one set, cas it behind the other:lol:

So ppl, I purchased 2 more...Now i got 5 sockets(each socket has 2 bulbs in)...I also got like 10 spare lamps, with mixed bulbs ones are cool whites and others are warm ones....
I think i have everything to start a good yielding fluro grow...I havent really seen any fluro grows, but if You know some, please share a link or something...

you CAN flower with the warm whites, i speak from personal experience and you will be suprised how well they work. If you havent tryed it before how can you doubt it? I KNOW it works cuz thats what i used for my first grow 6 years ago. and it does work better than cfls imho. SOG is easy as pie.. i mean you can honestly take a 4 foot fixture have your plant on the floor of a closet have the fixture going diagonal on top of the plant and have alot of bud that way all across the plant...ive seen it done before

yeah i grew a plants from start to finish with fluro lights form walmart they are for plants and fish tanks it works fine i also grew with cfls and it is about the same except fluros they were a little lankier

thanks for all the responses...this weekend Im thinking of putting the system up im my shed...3 sockets on top, and 2 on the sides...
Il hope that i get a good crop from those fluro grows, what i plan to too in the near future...I have a cabinet cfl setup already going, so i will have some good plants to go under these wonderful fluros...


Do anyone maybe have some pix of fluro grows, pls share it with all of us:hump:.....

I have only seen 1 or 2 on here and they were with t5s which are much more efficient, i dont think i have ever seen one with t8s, but good luck, just be sure and train your plants

I have seen (googel some shit) a t8 grow..Plants were vegged for a2 and a half months and then flowered(im growing white widow and so was the smae strain on that grow)...And the results were fucking beautiful, really, incredible i say..In all the dude used about 520wats of fluros, and i have a lil more wattages:mrgreen:..i saw it on ICMag or somewhere....
So dont say that you cant grow a really good crop with fluros, cas U can...Thats how they did in the 70s....

i was wondering when people were gonna get wise to t8 lamps... everything i see on here is all t5's... and they suck. t8's are they way to go... tiny and bright, and they've been on the market for 10 years now atleast that i know of

Oh, wait some more...Actually, the grow i saw with t8 fluros....The plants wasnt even trained or topped or fimmed or anything, and the results were still magnificent(but training will increase your yield for sure)

t5s are smaller put out more lumens per watt
