Got our Herb*Iron today

Was shipped on Tuesday from Cali, arrived Thursday in NY.
I purchased this for my husband who without going into to much detail has had some operations done on his hands and is not really able to use a lighter when he medicates without help. The Herb*Iron is fantastic! He is able to medicate using just his Thumb and index finger with no undue stress or fatigue on his hand, I would recommend this product to anyone! Not only those with special needs but to those looking for a cheap alternative to Vaping.

Also the customer service this company offers is top notch. The owner personally answered all my emails quickly and went above and beyond to make sure that we where satisfied with their product.

Kind of interesting, but their website still needs to be finished.

Would a click lighter, the "electric light" ones that you jsut click down instead of have to flick, not be just as easy? Pressing a button while holding that thing would seem to require as much effort as clicking one of those lighters. I couldn't access much information on their website though, so maybe I'm missing something.

Nope you would be surprised at the amount of pressure it takes to press down the button on one of the electric lighters and and this thing you just have to touch to turn on. Trust me we have tried everything, and all I am saying is this is by far the best alternative for him to use. But to each their own.

Plug it in and place your finger over the button. Hold it over your meds and inhale.

You tube Herb Iron there are videos up of people using them .

might have to be getting one of those myself as i have ms

Cool. I guess I didn't realize how easy it was to power that thing on. I've seen those click lighters be easy and hard, but if it works better for your husband then it's awesome.

Another question: When it burns the buds does it have the same effect as a lighter or is it more like a vape in that it doesn't really burn it to ashes?

You can use it either way if you hold it directly on your meds it will burn it just like a lighter, or you can kind of hover it over them for a vaping effect.

Just judging from the pictures, is this kind of like a soldering iron? Ive seen people use those before to vape their weed.

Kind of yes, however this is only hot when you have the button depressed, and cools to the touch when you release almost instantly.

I have a $25 soldering iron and it is far better than lighting with a lighter. They are worth the price for improvement in taste alone.

keeeeeewl so what does it do exactly just press it on the weed and it works like a lighter?Or is it for vaping?it looks like a soldering iron if thats what it is I will be feeling very stupid from all the nights when I hiked it to the store for a lighter when I could of used that.It seems like a must have for a smoke room.

It works on the same principal as a soldering Iron except it only becomes hot when you have the unit turned on by pressing the button, and cools to the touch once you let go. Where as all the soldering Irons I have ever seen stay hot constantly until you unplug it. Not to say that they don't have ones that have an on off switch. I have just never seen one. I think its a great product for only $70 and you get a full lifetime warranty also. And the owner of the company has an account here on RIU so if you ever have any questions you can ask him directly, Just like the Speedy Seedz guy.
You can use it for vaping, by hovering it over your meds or just touch it to them and it will ignite them just like a lighter.

it had me at herb iron... thing looks pretty koo... and thats straight it kools almost instantly.... so if it fell or whatever it wouldnt be hot too long.... glad he liked it...
