Got shorted.

Okay so I bought from a friend who I haven't talked to since the school year. I really never buy, but now I'm about to start since I have a job now. But I asked and paid for 2 grams, and I didn't have a scale when I bought it which was on Tuesday. I bought a scale today, calibrated it as best as I could (Didn't know you needed a weight so I used pennies and 1 penny now weighs 2.41 instead of 2.5). So I tested dollars, one dollar weighs like .97 and the other was like 1.01. So it's pretty close. Then I took the weed out of the bag, and when I weighed it it was 1.73. What do I do? I mean I can't really take a picture and send it to him since I'm sure he'd notice my scale is off a little and probably say I smoked some. Should I ask if I can weigh it next time? Or maybe say "If I weigh this will it actually be what I paid for this time?"

I know, but it has been two days and couldn't it have dried a little? If he shorted me .1 and it just dried .2 (If that's possible), then he might just eye it? I'm asking if I can bring my scale personally and ask him to weigh it, is that acceptable? Otherwise I'll find someone else lol

Is it normal for him not to short me if I buy an eighth? I don't care if he shorts other people. I imagine if I text him and tell him I'm gonna weigh it then he'll say it's fine. Of course I'll have to get calibrating weights before weighing it in front of him.

I used to short people all the time because at the end of the bag I made money and had free weed to smoke for myself

But if I point it out to him will the accident no longer happen or will he just "accidentally" do it again. Or worse, tell me his weed is danker now and try to charge me more. I will be the judge.

Lol I already said I just started buying, I've never had a job until now. And most people that smoked me out probably got skimped too but just never knew about it, so I can't ask them what to do
