Got the gear,ready to Grow!!! any advise welcome.

well thats what im working with. I am currently setting up the lab,and need some advise on proper setup.ventilation,odor control and yeild boosting advise are also welcome.thx guys

Are you new to growing? I only ask because Co2 may be a waste of $$ till you have all other things dialed in. Thats alot of wattage and probably quite a few plants to go under it.

If its your first shot out you may want to work on the basics first before going big.

.. good luck cooling all that with 2 4" fans. should have bought 6" or 8". two fans pulling through 5 scrubbers? That will decrease your air movement fast..

If you have done this rodeo before... well ignore me and do what you gotta.

using the bigger fans for light cooling and smaller for odor.i dont think i got enough odor control though.i read about some peeps on here using box fans and diy made filters and they worked great.dont remember what thread they were on though.and for co2,i ahve used in smaller rooms with great success.i figure with bigger rooms i should use some formula to get it right rather than guessing so if anyone knows a lil about co2 and formulas for it, my ears are open.anyway,just cloned from my mothers and im bout to do a 3 week veg.never used co2 during veg,does it matter?i also wanna pull about 4 oz a plant do you guys thing 3 weeks in veg is enough.

You have gear.

But not the gear you really need. Some if that stuff you got you need to sell and get the right stuff.

First you need a plan. How many plants what style. Okay let's say 4 plants a 1k hps. Veg total of 4 weeks +1 rooting clone or +2 from seed.

Really cloned do fine next to cfl you can fit 6 party cups next to an 18w for and the roots will fill sufficiently in 1 week to transplant to if final container. In my case 5 gallon bucket. It gets 3 weeks in that bucket with 7 others (8 total) probably will get topped too. By this time they are 2-3ft tall and ready to flower. I have 3 areas. Each are very simple. The first as above cloning and veg. It's about a 2x4 area, enough to fit 8 plants in buckets, a fan pointed at them with a 200w light above, then to conserve space because they don't very tall I built a shelf, where I clone, and veg for a week in small pots under about 50w of cfl

ventilation will always vary but the goal is the same old air out fresh in. I don't bother with co2 anymore. Grow in basements pull air from floor above. But you dont have to pull in air at all if you do just be sure exhaust fan is more powerful, giving considerations to filter restriction. A good rule of thumb is replace you air at least 3x a minute. I grow in roughly 5x5 area and use a filter with my fans and its about 200 cfm this is about average for my Space I draw air from the highest point. As close to light as I can and use as little ducting as needed to get it where I'm going. Recommend insulated.

Then a big fan,.box.fans are great. To both blow plants an hood and bulb. Bare bulb is the way to go. The 400w hangs vertical in both my rooms 1000w horizontal with a good in one vertically with parabolic in other. Im currently Comparing them

8 plants total in each room 4 plants spend first 4-6 weeks surrounding 400w with 1000w adding its light several feet away. This keeps them short, bushy, with even easily managed canopy. Then as something gets out and they start really flowering they are moved under the 1000w for the last 4-6 weeks. And they just pack it on from there.

Pro mix feed every other watering half organic half synth. Flush x2 last 2 weeks.

Keep humidity low. Watch for bugs. Research experiment and figure it out.

I plan on doing 30 under a total of 4 1000s got em under 2 right now for veg.was gonna do 3 week veg and then the 10 week flower.want to grow em normal but i may have to top em once before flower to keep em a lil shorter.lights are doing a great job right now keeping em low and bushy though.got em at 16 inches away with 75 temp.i will be using 3 gal grow bags and i use fox farm soil and nutes.i cycle the air constantly.i will be uploading a pic soon.any ideas on how i can get better use out of the current setup im using?

Just seen this again .the co2 was the best thing I ever did. Wow is all I can say .

Must have been kickass weed because posts stopped and no pics happened.

Keep all pics on my hdd .I grew ice in an aeroponic system with co2. Third day of of co2 I can into room and all plants were laying on floor.had to tie everyone of them to ceiling .and yeah it was great. I'll get pics off hdd and post on here. Why does it take so long to upload on here though ?

Used to be quick before they had problems. Use chrome, seems to work better.
