the only thing gonna get you higher is more thc in your blood stream , i dont see how coughing gets more thc into your blood stream .

Maybe, however this is precisely where we need actual reproducible Cannabis studies on administration pathways. Physiologically when you cough you inhale and briefly force exhalation against your closed epiglottis ending with opening the epiglottis and expelling the air forcefully. During the force exhalation phase against the closed epiglottis you mechanically increase pulmonary pressure it's possible that there might be increased exchange at the alveolar level.
But to rule out the other gas changes during this same event it would require actual THC blood tests in study and control groups.
So the answer for now is maybe.

Usually a coughing fit happens after you take a huge hit, bigger the hit, the more thc. G bongs will do that to you. Just a heads up for anyone who cares, 44 north bottles fit a 18mm bowl perfectly, and you get a little vodka

i think it's just the fact that you took a big enough hit to make you cough, so of course you're going to feel higher after such a hit rather then taking a bunch of smaller hits that wouldn't make you cough..

The bigger the hit the bigger the cough. You only think you get higher from the cough because you just took in a big dro cloud.
I think it's silly how anybody could believe that though. It's like saying you get more sick if you sneeze while you have a cold. Nope, you sneezed BECAUSE you had a cold.

Hey op.. Try a waterfall hit. Gravity bongs suck ass since they're so nasty. Waterfalls are great though since they're just soooo much more smooth. Very easy to make. You can make one since you already have the stuff needed for the gravity bong. Oh and they're much smaller and less annoying. Damn I want a waterfall now, I'm gonna go make one.

I feel like coughing does increase the high, perhaps because the coughing causes you to take a whole lot of breaths, your lungs get clearer somehow?I don't know...or perhaps MJ makes you cough naturally so if you are coughing then you are doing it right...lol. But a session with no coughing is nowhere near as much fun as one where you cough your face off...unless you are coughing cuz it's terrible pot...then that just sux...but I mean if you aren't taking hits large enough to produce coughing then you won't get as high as if you had taken large enough hits to work up a cough...I don't know why, but it does make a difference. think about it for a few sessions and see the difference...

The only thing about waterfalls that i don't care for is filling it back up instead of just pulling another grav. Gravs are more convenient during a 8 person smoke sesh and where there is not running water. I've dropped gravs in the car on a road trip, in the woods, and on a roof. I like them both but waterfalls just don't cut it for me.
