ya if your doing a vertical grow strait up would be best

When I say "wide" I mean facing the light wide. Deep is what I call going away from the light. Most of mine now are growing 28" high, 18" wide and only 8" deep. I tie occasionally if the side branches grow up too much into the higher ones just to open it up a little. Also started stair-stepping some back away from the bulb so I can set the container under the bulb and the plant will angle with the contour of the bulb. There's lots of light available below and above a vertical bulb.

Yeah if you don't want to mess with shelves best just to get the height out of one plant. My 1k needs a shelf since it covers a little over 5'.

ay d gotti ive got a question for you its about your BM, when you harvested yours how did it smell because mine smells like a plant not weed that is until i squeeze it then a little smell will come out but for the most part it has no nice scent is this normal??
