Gr0wing QuestionS

Hello there , i have 2 questions. It's now almost my 3rd week of my little babies' lifes and im wondering :

1st - 1 of the plant's having some white shit on its leaves. Any more information about it ? And maybe some suggestoins. (The shit is on the side and it is pure white , looks like the leaf is dying - 1 top leaf , and 1 lower leaf). Is it possible to have happened because of too many sunlight ( i use normal lamps - might of heated the plant abit) , but i doubt it its other brothers and sisters are in perfect condition) Unfortonatly i dont have any camera by my side.

2nd - WHen i transplant them into a bigger home , is it okay to mix the soil ? I mean i started growing them in a shitty soil ( basicly almost dirth- rocks and some shitty minerals i think) , and they still did not dissapoint me . But now im gonna buy some pretty badass soil and im wondering if it is good to mix the 2 soils together ? Any answer to what might of happen or any suggestions at all?

P.S : Im growing them indoors.

I would skip the shit soil and just use the good, or the "badass soil" as you put it. the white might be powder mildew or mold. if it wipes off its mold. there is a few links at the top of the page that might help browse thru them

So assuming there's nothing wrong with mixuring the soils , got it.
I've had some mold on my plants , but in the further proceess ( around 2nd or 3rd month). Is there any hope for this little dude ... like to cut the mold ? Will check some links you've suggested aswell.

really the better the soil, the better the roots and the better the plants. I always mix vermiculite, perlite, peat, lava rock, hydrated lime into the bag soil i bought.
