:peace:yeah u totally can. hops is in the same family as cannabis. you can graft marijuana to hops.. the only problem is it doesn't produce thc after that haha.
Actually, the way I remember is that you can graft hops onto a mj stalk in order to disguise it. Would it still have thc with a mj root system? Even if it did, it may not be a smooth smoke.

A book called The Marijuana Connoisseur has a chapter that talks about grafting mj shoots onto hops plants for a stealth grow. I picked up a copy a few years back, kinda outdated as far as technology goes but a very useful resource. Picked it up on amazon.com

Junkster-

The main reason you would be unable to graft mj to a tree is the difference in genetics as someone said earlier. More specifically the difference in growth between a woody plant and an herbaceous plant. Woody plants have what is called a vascular cambium. This is a zone of cells that undergo cell division and reproduction via mitosis. The vascular cambium is located just inside the bark of a woody plant. It is what causes girth. Hope this helps.

That may be where I read about it. I am not advanced enough to try it and I am not sure I could even find hops plants. It was just an interesting idea. I still wonder though if you could could make a brew with any psychoactive qualities. :weed:
