gram per watt?

good porn starts at around maybe page 36 or so.. it's been awhile since i've checked it out, but it's somewhere around that page when things start to get really good..

yea, i think it's pretty hard with larger plants. you just have so much wasted space and light. you'd have a better shot with 4x250w lights than you would with a single 1000w imo. that's why i think you really need to have a SCROG or SOG. not impossible growing trees but just that much harder.

its a pretty small setup,but most everything is automated now.

horizontal grow, but i learne light intensity when i was a padawan grower i got it setup with right space for the lights, there are no shadows.

yea, that's not really an accurate gram per watt number. perpetual grows mean you have different size plants at different stages of flower. you can fit a lot more plants under the light because the ones in weeks 1-4 are a lot smaller and require less space. plus you don't get a true gpw number cause you are only really harvesting 4 plants a week. you probably couldn't fit 32 plants in week 6 of flower under that same light at the same time. 1.5-2gpw means you would need to be able to pull 3.5-4.5lbs per harvest under a single 1000w light. that's impossible in a vertical setup in my opinion. even if you SOG. that's like 16 plants yielding 4oz. per plant. you can't fit that much under a single 1000w. and if you add cfl's, fluoros, etc... you have to calculate their wattage as well.

Sounds like a sweet setup man but its really not about how much cash you can throw at it... I have gotten .87g to 1.2 and this run im trimming is looking like its gonna come in around 1.5 or more. I run a 1000w and two 600w with a few fans and just had to get a dehumidifier. 18 7 gal pots with coco. Thats it.... I have spent maybe 1200 bucks on hardware. coco nutes and elec varies but is small
