Grand Daddy Purple from SEED - CLF - Indoor

I've had this GDP seed for over 2 years and finally have the chance to let her grow <3
she started really really weak! i had to help her/him out of the seed case i know it not good but it did not want to break out it self!

The CLF Setup is a 150W Soft White Bulb hooked in to a reflector!
it growing super fast, i would love the input of professional growers on here

Soil Mix
  • the soil mix is 1/5 clay pebbles on the bottom
  • and 4/5 potting soil on the top

lol @ the fan right up on the plant, im sure shes getting mucho wind, always good. Although in the seedling stages, they might fall over easy due to "strong wind" or if the medium is not compacted enough. gotta make sure shits tight in there before you introduce a hurricane to blow the tree over.

your soil looks moist in both of those pictures btw, make sure you let that shit dry, or the plant will def die.

i hope she a fem and all the time wont be wasted, and the fan not strong at all! it just enough to keep the air moving around

Dude my first grow planted 2 Bag seeds both where females ,Hope that your's turn out the same, I will keep checking in and good luck also dont be afraid to ask RIU community Questions no matter how dumb you think it is they are a very big help especially for a newbie like me..........:mrgreen:

i know the plant seems good, but should it be growing faster from seed ?
TODAY the height of the plant is at the rim of the pot it grew about 1/4 inch over night is that good or bad ?



and my last question, the stem had like a purple/red tent to it on the first day when it started to come out of the ground is that good or bad ?

Well usually when there is redish on the stem its due to some type of ph problem but since you got GDP i wouldnt know if its just the plant its self cause i never grew that before.
And the plant is stretching for the light not saying your light is to far away its just does that

Had the same thing some people told me it could be genetics? also PH problem

For a two year old seed I'm surprised that it even germinated. Having said that it does look healthy. Good luck with it and hope it is a fem.

P.S the color of the stem means nothing. I grow mostly indica and everytime the sprouts have purple or red stems.

well, i have a 150w soft white cfl it puts off some heat but im not using it yet, im using a soft white 60w right now
the room stays around 64f and it has a tiny computer fan inside of the pot to keep the air moving around the plant
