Granddaddy Purple's....Purple Dream

I never got the kona sunset...I wanted the original gooey but it was at the attitude for like 3 weeks...then vanished

Smoke test are in....bag appeal is one thing... Stomper stone is another....purple dream is A1 in bag appeal, but Golden Triangle....IS KILLER SMOKE...
Purple dream was a beast...but her high was very bright...& up...on the job smoke....
You can not focus after smoking Golden Triangle....Cheers for the under dogbongsmilie
 
Here are some babies I have going, 3 weeks from seed...2 Purple Dream freebies are on their way. Had 2 Bay 11 plants that were gorgeous, but they fuggin threw male flowers after they decided to be female...Damn! Pics in my album, if you wanna laugh or cry!

Yeah, kens OGK was another up high...it was 80% body...but the buzzz STAYs on top of your head..
 
Here we go my frens...The front lady is a Hippie Killer that is 30 days old. She is moving to her final living resting place and will be vegged for a bit longer, depending on growth. The back lady is a Purple Dream, just showed me her she-junk last night, also 30 days old and in for more veg time. I have only grown 2 GDP branded products (2 GDP Bay 11 regulars) and they both hermied on me; so needless to say I am a bit skeptical. Even if they are free seeds, I do provide all expenses for them to grow and could divert those resources elsewhere in the hunt. Without us as a growing community, the seeds are just seeds. Anyway, I am a bit medicated...on a good note, the PD has a heavy concord grape smell. Be safe.

Well, the good news is that both GDP Purple Dreams are ladies. They both have a nice grapey-hash smell, 36 days old and they are vegging along nicely, topped bout a week ago. Waiting for them to rebound before they are flowered...best o' luck frens.

I have the Hippie Killer on my wish list. Keep us posted. I've almost pulled the trigger on that one twice.
 
Here are a few shots of todays harvest of purple dream! One of the photos is from a couple of weeks ago and the others from yesterday. She was a very slow finisher about 90 days so I had to finish her out in my attic window. Luckily its been in the low 70's here the last few weeks keeping the attic warm and dry!! Happy wake-n-bake all on the west coast!!

View attachment 2938287 Here is the Purple Dream (left); Hippie Killer (right); and Applejack (baby). Still vegging at 20/4, gonna keep them here for a bit longer. About 12" tall apiece. No nutes yet, just RO, (Orca and Hygrozyme) occasionally.

Both topped once.

Definitely keep you posted as she goes. She has a really nice hashy/earth smell coming about her. Nice stout structure so far, 12" tall and topped once.

Here we are frens, The left plant is a GDP Purple Dream and the right one is the Hippie Killer. Both of em are about 12" and the HK is going into flower tonight.
 
Okay, so I have two Purple Dreams and they are both showing male and female junk. 4 out of 4 GDP brands (2 Bay 11 regs and 2 PD regs) have hermied on me. Nothing out of the ordinary happening, plus I have 7 other strains (various breeders) and no problems with them. Still have OG Kush, Candyland, and Bay Dream seeds, but is it worth it? I have others to run that have been more stable. Any thoughts?!?
