Only way to start the day ;)

Tried to do my update this morning but for some reason the site was not cooperating with me. Anyhow, woke up checked on the girls today, another day of smoothness **knock on wood**. Nothing really to do to them today besides just let them go, so I focused a little bit on the top of her. She seems to have 2 nodes fighting to be on the top, I love it as I will ultimately be the winner hopefully lol.

I've mainly done outdoor, but since I've went to indoor and used different soil rather than what is already there, I'm not sure should I be adding any fertilizers, and if so any suggestions?

very healthy, great looking bunch of plants! thumbs UP!
Thank you for the kind words sir :)

I do i add Bio Bizz product line, its amazing!

I use Happy Frog soil in 7gal pots.
I will check out the BioBizz, the guy at my Co-op mentioned he used that line also. I didn't know if I should, I am using Happy Frog also, so I'll pick some of that up next time I head to the grow store.

Guess this will just morph into a combined journal now with all 4 girls...

Pots for the Purple Haze and the Grape Ape were pretty light, so gave them some water today. Decided to try something a little different today and move the pots around after watering, putting the weaker in the places where the stronger ones were. Hoping this helps them out a bit...

Heading to the grow shop today a little later, going to check out what nutes and stuff I want to use this flowering period. Right now all I have is Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom for flowing using the Pro Grow for veg. I have heard some good things from the Humboldt line, might look into some of those. Grabbing some Liquid Karma for sure though.

Purple Haze, splitting into two plants almost...

Sunshine, the little plant that could...

Day014 (2).jpg

Blue Cheese, looking better each and every day...Little concerned about a little yellowing going around it, looks like it was peppered on a few leaves. We'll see how it plays out.
Day014 (1).jpg

Grape Ape, really my best looking still, don't see that changing anytime soon...

Last night before I went to be I noticed a few spots on the leaves of the Blue Cheese... It was Spider Mites. Evil little bud sucking bastards...

DSCN2025.jpgDSCN2024.jpg

Anyhow I woke up and immediately looked at the plant through my microscope, while I found a few eggs I saw one just walk right past my lens so I knew for sure. I had to go to the local grow shop to pick up some Liquid Karma so I grabbed some Docktor Doom Knock Out to hold them off until my order of Forbid can arrive.

I brought home the spray and after the lights went out I sprayed them all (not just the Blue Cheese) from the bottom up, then sprayed the inside along with the base of the tent. The plants seemed to handle the spray well, no real bad effects that I can see so we will see how the bugs do until the real deal bug killer gets here. Hoping since it's so early in veg that it won't effect the final product.

Well another beautiful day hello everyone...

Since the whole borg infestation, I have topped the Blue Cheese, right about the spots the other were topped, in hopes that i will thicken up a little bit.
Day018 (2).jpg

Noticed the Purple Haze is starting to stretch a little bit, maybe genetics?
Day018 (4).jpg

Grape Ape staying bushy as can be, loving this one.
Day018 (3).jpg

Just hasn't decided if it wants to live or die yet...
Day018 (1).jpg

I'm thinking 2 weeks max and it's time to go 12/12 and see what we can really grow, any suggestions?

Well today was "watering" day, they're starting to drink quite a bit went through about a gallon today on the main 3, and of course I gave the little one a drink also.

All seem to be doing pretty well at this time from what I can see (minus the Sunshine as always lol).
Day0215.jpg:hump:

Just counting down the days until I put them into flowering. I'm thinking next weekend will be a good time to swap out the lights and change the timer. Get it all ready before the holidays, think I should wait since I just topped the Blue Cheese :peace:

Today is the first day of 12/12 under HPS... My better half (Mrs. Kanibus) convinced me it was time, because we are expecting our little "seedling" any day now. That means I needed to get the ball rolling in case I had to be gone a few days at the hospital. So Saturday night I swapped out the bulbs and changed over the timers.

If the plants grow double the size it will not be an issue, triple size might, but I can just tie it down if it's an issue of getting to close to the light, right now it's about 6-8" away from the tube so far so good.

Now it's time for the fun to begin...bongsmilie

Day 024 (Flowering Day 02)

They're getting a little thirsty I found out this morning so I will be watering when I get home tonight. Buckets felt pretty light, all I have made up right now is some transition mix, but not quite ready and I thought I had some more distilled water (stupid me for thinking)...

Tried to take some close ups today, see a couple white pistols starting to come out. Maybe they were there before and I just missed them, but in any case some are there now. Kind of difficult to see them due to the HPS lighting. I have moved the light up just a couple of inches to help with some of the heat on the tops it was getting around 80-81 degrees on the tops of the girls.

Checked the leaves, they don't appear to be burnt or showing anything out of the ordinary right now but I will be checking more closely since now it's changing and I don't want deficiencies.

Flowering Chart I've found:
Grape Ape: 55 days
Purple Haze: 50 - 65 days
Blue Cheese: 60 - 70 days
Sunshine: no info

Not sure if anyone else has a better location to find out information on the strains and flowering times, if so please let me know.

Well today I looked inside and it is starting to look pretty thick in there. All of them are really liking the 12/12 and HPS lighting. Even good old SunShine has came back to life, while looking at it I noticed a really weird leaf that just shot out with one “finger” (picture attached). I am glad it’s finally taking off though even though it kind of kept the others back.
Day0261.jpg

Purple Haze, Grape Ape and Blue Cheese seem to be just blowing up, about one more week until I start using the bloom mix. Just watered last night with more of the Grow mix in order to help with the first 2 week growth.

I am starting to see what looks like some buds forming in their early stage, everything is looking pretty good right now. Few of the older leaves near the bottom of the stalk are starting to turn yellow, most likely due to not enough light from the tops sucking it all up so I’m not too worried about it.

It’s to the point now where it’s hard to individually pick out the strains through pictures as I have to climb through a jungle to get to the back ones (not really but it makes me feel better to think that lol). Dang Purple Haze is just shooting up, far passing all the others and risking getting too tall for the light and tent, but if that happens I’ll just tie that bad girl down!
Day029 (1).jpg

Read somewhere online that they really grow quickly for the first 2 weeks of flowering then slow down to the growing to produce flowers, not sure how true it is, but I have seen some rapid growth and I’m hoping it stops growing UP soon haha!
