Hello!

First time grower here have a question about my fan leaves turning slightly lime green and some light brown spots. I have been using the GH line with distilled water or tap water for top offs after letting it dechlorinate for 24hrs. I do use calimag. I know there’s a million of these posts but I can’t find the right solution for my leaves.

Here is my feeding schedule:

1 Gallon AeroGarden setup week 1-3
Micro 1/8 tsp
Bloom 1/8 tsp
Gro 1/8 tsp
Hydroguard 1/4 tsp
Calmag 1/8

2nd water change
Micro 1/2 tsp
Bloom 1/2 tsp
Gro 1/2 tsp
Hydroguard 1/4 tsp
Calmag 1/4

3rd week - changed to 5 gallon DWC
Hydroguard - 2 tsp
Calmag- 2 1/2 tsp
Micro 2 1/2 tsp
Gro 2 1/2 tsp
Bloom 2 1/2 tsp
Ppm 430
PH 6.0-6.5

4th week
Hydroguard - 2 tsp
Calmag- 5 tsp (raised from 2 1/2) - started noticing color change in leaves
Micro 3 tsp
Gro 3 tsp
Bloom 3 tsp
Ppm 800
PH 6.0-6.5

High temp 79
Low temp 70
Humidity 40-50%

So you were using 2.5 teaspoon per 5 gallons? Or are those numbers per gallon? If those numbers are per 5 gallons, I would guess that you are seeing cal/mag deficiencies, and now you're using enough calmag, but of course the older leaves won't show any visual improvement. Just keep an eye on the new grow to see if you fixed it. Good luck!

Tap water won’t off gas chemicals in just 24 hours. If your municipality uses bromine, it takes days. Best bet is to get a cheap pack of rv filters, they’re good for chlorine and bromine.

thank you for the tip I typically only top off once a week an there bottles that have sitting for at least 2-3 days with the top off, I live in Boston our tap is pretty decent.
