hey kali i was rootin around & found these t-5s called badboy avail. at www.ncwgs.com supposedly more lumens than 1000w.hid. im always looking at different stuff , been lookin at this mag called urban garden magazine.com [free at hydro store in stockton] its a gold mine of info hope youre enjoyin your buzz gettin ready to pop a beer & then recruit ol - sparky & mr diesel for a serious sit-down aint life great thanks for replying to my threads your input is always welcome h.h.

ps allis going better than planned im a happy camper cant wait till easter wrote some stuff on my post where you usually find me went campin this week end came home to a lot of new growth my stuff is really programing

yea those lamps are way sick i saw those at my hydro shop they are really nice lookin but the cost is also pretty nice i can see myself in the future investing in a prduct like that esp the size is nice too

i am somewhat facinated with t-5;s & cfl's because of heat issues & light distribution my next purchase will be a new bulb with increased blue spectrum & or a mh. conversion for vegging although my 6oow.-hps is giving best results ever & things are really shaping up last few days lots of growth & slight buds developing tomorrow is 1 month & i have 20-24 in. of growth pruning & super cropping really paying off

ok so i changed my res last night and i started using the purple maxx and gravity i am using about 2ml of gravity and about 1.5 ml of purple maxx per gallon i also raised me lights 6 inches like they recomend on the bottle i hope i am using the produycts right cause if not i may f up this grow but if i do it right from what i hear i may see some nice results fingers crossed the lights come on in a lil ill try to snap some pics and post before i go to work if not ill ost em later to enjoy forthe weekend and the room continues to stay arount 75-79 so it got a lil warmer this week hence the slight rise in temp humidity stays at bay ph stays around 5.8-6.0 i seldom have to adjust it and when i doits minor right now my ppms are 725 thats cause i am running phd w3ater with gravity and purple maxx no other nutes at this time will probly be running that until sunday or monday

Looks fine to me, you're saying there's a problem? I've used gravity with no ill effects on strong strains. A couple bag seed I had cried though haha

looks good to me as well the tent is cool cause you got access from all sides my room 3x4 only allows access from front makes it hard to prune & super crop ,raise the light & that sort of stuff it looks like youll get a good yield too ur da man

yea thanks guys things are going well with the grow i just wonder sometimes if i am along the right path or if there is anything that i am over looking sometimes it is good to have some input in regards to that i appreciate all the kind words as well things seem too be moving along nicely the purple maxx and gravity are great as well i am so glad i didnt over do the purple maxx that stuff really helepd to bring out some more trichs which is nice and i feel the gravity is helping the buds gain density so i decide to run the purple maxx and gavity for another day i will water one last time on tues and then resume the normal feeding schedule and as i near the end i plan on using some more gavity by itself but that is about another 3 weeks away or so as this is the begining of the 6th week since my lights were switched to 12/12 also my two clones that i took and put in to dwc buckets are doing very well nice and healty with nice dark leaves hopefully in a few weeks or soo i can start taking clones which are good for trade or sales ill have pics up probly around wed or thurs to show how things are going after i change the res and water for a day or so
again any input and feedback or comments is mopre then welcome

hey kali got your request sounds cool 2 me heres another angle [email protected] i check it every few days im not 2 slick at using the computer got my kid 2 help me post pics ill learn as soon as i can [my kids 20 yr. old] cant always expect kids to post my pics maybe i should take computer class at library never had much use for computer until i started doing this

hey what a do sorry its been so long i have been so busy as of late with school n work not fun but still thakful i can do both but yea things are going well with the grow and i think i am coming close to harvest time as most of the hairs are changing color and becoming more and more dark orange i have had to support some of the branches as they are gaining some wait and falling down temps stay right around 75-77 and the humidity stays down it kinda got humid for a couple of days cause my dehumidifer faild but its under warranty so they sent me a new one which i got about two days later the pm stays at bay thanks to the serenade but some things i will change next time i run my ebb and flow will be the type of pots i use i will not use net pots again i also would like to add another fan in the room so i can have one on each side i will also next time use topping n fimming methods to help increase the yeild on my plants here are some pics from last week ill try to post thesome pics i took today later but i gotta go to work also does neone have any tips on making bubble hash i got the 5 gal 5 bag set and i plan on using them after harvest for my trim

whats up man...lookin good...i was lookin at the beginning of your journal and i am trying to figure out how u have your exhaust set up....i see one fan only....so how is that set up...i mean are u pulling air from the tent thru the filter to cool the lightand then exhaust the air...trying to figure out how u have it set up...thanks

Lookin good bro! I'm getting a 600 hps too! Just make sure u stir the shit outta the ice/herb when making the hash. Electric mixers are nice on the arms.

Whats goin on der buddy, long time no see! I been busy as hell lately and tryin ta keep my grow together and update my journal have been takin up a lot of my free time. Things are lookin very nice tho my man, its lookin like youre gonna have one helluva harvest! How many days you got left anyway???
I saw your question on my other thread and to answer your question Im runnin 32 in a 2x4. I actually had to remove one cuz it was slightly blocking my overflow valve and causing my table to drain slowly which unfortunately caused somewhat of a flood in my bedroom! So now Im down to 31 and Im considering removing another one thats much smaller than the others and is having a really hard time getting any light. So I might remove him to make some room for the others, you should see my table man its like a freakin jungle!
But if you wanna increase yield (who doesnt) you should try running a high number of small plants. The first time I tried it I got 3 times the yield of my previous run and the only thing I changed was the number of plants, same nutes, same space, same light, etc. 32 is a good number for a 2x4 as long as you flower them small and run single top plants. I vegged my too long and made the mistake of trimming the canopy to even it out. This Choc pheno branches like crazy if topped even once so I ended up with 31 18" branchy ass little monsters! But I did some serious surgeory to thin them out and clear out the bottom third of the growth to increase airflow and everythings goin good. Theyre still pretty crammed in there but I have high hopes for yield this time around. I watched Seemorebuds Vol 1 and he does a set of 2x4 tables w/32 in each and they look identical to mine except he didnt thin them out which led to early harvest due to mold. But he still yielded almost 2 lbs per table and claimed it wouldve been even better if he did some trimming and didnt have to harvest early. So if I do half as good as he did Ill be very pleased! But I would try 32 or maybe even 21, 3 rows of 7 or 6 would give you more room ta work with. I think this method yields so well because every single bud is directly under your lamps and is able to get maximum amounts of light throughout the cycle. With taller plants the lower buds dont perform as well, and alot of your space is taken up by big branches and lots of foliage. With SOG you basically have a bunch of buds on a stick w/no wasted space! I love it!

Oh yea Ive got a few hash makin tips for ya too! If you really wanna extract as much as possible w/out your arm fallin off, get a fairly strong electric power drill and a paint mixing bit. If you dont have one everybodys got a drill, you can borrow one or even rent one for like $10-20 bucks a day. The paint mixing bits are around 5-15 bucks depending on what kind you get.
Another thing is keep a big mixing bowl around that has a circumference similar to a 5 gal bucket. After you pull the bags and are ready to scrape up the wet hash its extremely helpful to stretch the screen over the rim of the bowl. It keeps the screen tight and makes scooping up the hash much easier. Also after the water has drained if you bounce the bag the hash will come together in a ball in the middle of the bag.
Oh and one huge thing that I wish somebody had told me is when you get to the bottom bag, the 25 micron or whatever, its gonna drain extremely slow! Its nice to have something you can hang the bag from while its draining because if you try ta rush it your hash will end up all over the sides of the bag making it a pain in the ass to collect. One thing that you need ta do to help speed this up is to bounce the bag. The best way I can explain it is when you first pull the bag its gonna be really heavy cuz its full of freakin water and takes forever to drain! So you might wanna have a buddy help ya with this one! Hold the bag over the bucket and lift it very quickly so it kinda becomes airborn I guess, and then let it fall back into the bucket and jerk strings your holding catch it... confused? If you can imagine a ball hanging on a string and when you jerk it up the ball flys in the air and then falls until the string your holding catches it. Well this is esentially what your doing with the bag except the bag wont fly up so easy! You basically just wanna lift it up really hard and then let it fall and when it catches it jerks and causes a bunch of the water to go thru the screen just make sure it is over the bucket when you do it! If you dont do this it will take an hour or 2 for this bag to drain. You can go on youtube and watch bubblemans video on makin hash. He goes thru the whole process and shows you how to bounce the bottom bag.
One more thing you might wanna try is after youve run your trim thru the bags a few times (I ususaly run it thru 3 times) save all the green nasty water. Put it in a big bucket or whatever you have layin around and let it sit over night. The next day pour off the top 75-80% of the water but be very careful not to agitate it or mix it up at all. For some reason a lot of the crystals dont get caught in the screen and end up back in your water. When you let it sit overnight they will sink to the bottom and youll notice that when you pout it out the bottom 10-20% will be very dark and thick compared to the rest. Take that bottom water and run it thru the bags again and youll probably get a nice little chunk! I got an extra 5 grams the last time I did this!

hey what is good my exhaust is rather simple i start with my can 33 i have that connected to the right side of my hood with ducting and on the left side of the hood i have it connected with ducting to a 6 inch can fan which blows air out the the tent pulling the air through the filter cooling the light and out the room its powerful enough for my room as it creats a negative pressure and then i use two 6 inch ports on the right sideof my tent as passive intake rather simple i will probly be adding a lil bit so i can get a bit better amount of air intake in my room i hope this helps answer your question

hey kali just dropped in to see if its harvest time yet im gettin close i changed up & im going with 707 headband for next grow concerned about yield & flower time on purplewreck decided to run with proven performer glad i cloned my friends headband he made bank on it & lots of stash too my mango is doing really good it looks & smells like the pineapple rush might just work the mango now smells like grapefruit ! i shit you not it used to have a cantaloupe/melon smell harvest will tell the story heres a couple of pics from today h.h.
