Strain: Grapefruit Krush (Grapefruit x Bubba Kush)

Growth: Pretty slow during the first three weeks of flowering, but the last six weeks is when it started packing on weight

Nutes: Botanicare line; Calmag, power flower, silica blast, and fox farm solubles

Yield: 29 grams dried. I was hoping for around fifty, but I didn't have optimal growing conditions in my tent.

Bag Appeal: 10!! Very frosty, so sexy!

Smell: Hot peanuts and orange cleaner.

Taste: It taste how it smells, which I love.

The High: Energetic and very euphoric. I felt like doing outdoor activities, which I normally dislike.IMG_20120408_131222.jpgIMG_20120408_135939.jpg

Comments: All and all, this was a great learning experience and I can't wait to start on my second grow in two weeks. Also, Emerald triangle has quality genetics. I definitely recommend giving their gear a try.

One more thing, than you, Rollituppers for all your help!! Made some great cannabutter with the trim.

Happy Easter!!

I just finished a Lost Cost OG grow. Im in agreement with you on ET's stuff! Not even cured yet and the smoke is fantastic!! Also the research on ET's grows will show a lot of very satisfied customers.

Lost Coast OG is definitely a great strain. The smell and taste are unique and delicious.

I have noticed an amazing difference from curing it for two weeks... Better taste, and the high lasts for over 2 hours!!! Definitely running this strain again :)

Grapefruit Krush is by Emerald Triangle.

Hey OP, were your seeds regs or fems? I've got 2 fem GFK going in the next grow. Nice schmok report! +Rep!

Ghopzz, Natty is correct! The seeds came from Emerald Triangle.. I had received the one seed as a freebie over a year ago from the Attitude... Also, thanks for the rep Natty! You're going to love this strain :) Just started a 2nd run with 2 grapefruit krush, 3 lemon diesel, 3 green house lemon skunk!

I ran a single freebie Grapefruit Krush seed outdoors this summer and love it. Probably same promotion last winter. I also grew Lost Coast OG and Super Sour OG. Unfortunately, the SSOG got ripped. The Lost Coast was huge and was a much bigger yielder, but when it comes to smell and taste, GK wins. I would have done better, but in Late July a deer or some other animal came through and broke a bunch of branches. Anyway, I'm hooked on ET. They have some great gear. Have 2 more seeds each of LC and SSOG with a pack of Mastadon Kush and Grapefruit Krush on the way. Have a single Emerald Jack and Trinity Kush left too from the same promo. Can't wait to crack them all.

ET's GFK is by far the most hairiest strain I've ever seen! Covered in light red/orange hair. The pheno that I had smelled like orange creme savers and pepper but tasted like pure oranges and cream after curing. My friend also ran one and he said his hermied out so he got rid of it. Mine didn't hermie at all and it's deff on my top 5 list. Anyone running GFK will be in for a delightful surprise.

Would you guys say GFK is exceptionally stinky indoors? I grew mine outdoors and am looking for some strains that don't require extreme odor control measures.

I only ran a single plant in my basement and you could smell it at my front door on the next floor up. Couldn't say anything about outdoors, never tried GFK outside but man she IS extra stinky!

did this strain get stretchy for anyone? or did grow kind of slow like the bubba? im not sure what i should try to grow this alongside...

It started off pretty slow, but packed on the last four weeks. Overall, it's a great strain with minimum stretching. I found it to be my favorite bubba cross. She can handle her nutes, too. Also, the only thing I disliked about this strain was the low yield, but it's great medicine, like I stated earlier.

I love this strain. I haven't smoked in probably close to a month and just took a couple puffs of GK. It's been in the jar for 5 months and still very strong smell and taste. It's back on the outdoor list for this year!

i just finished a pack of grapefruit krush regs as well as a pack each of the bubba 76 lost cost og, bluberry head band, and cali wild fire
my grapefruit smells great dont see the orange like many say just straight grapefruity citrus cali funk but I would not call the bag apeal good by my high standards (exept the smell its cool).
I yielded on average about 40 grams with the grapefruit which I consider very low. Oh and I dont like fluffy buds.
the lost coast Is still wet.
love the bubba , some dank in the headbands and strong cali smells but the phenotypes are all all all over the place
and the cali wildflower has some dank is frosty as fuck low yield very nute sensitive and they all purpled nicely but looks like it and the bubba may do ok topped with 4 main colas.

I may consider running the GFK next mother; after my 3 Emerald Jack's finish up... They're monsters... Wahahaha. Expect a report in a few weeks.

had a bubba and so did a friend a while back. Both were good, way better than expected. good yield, strong old school weed, traditional hash flavours.
