Hey guys !

Its me, again :D So, today i came to my girls, checked them and saw a grasshopper or a cricket, as he was chilling on the leaf, and i saw a gnawed leaf, completely gnawed off of the main stem, is this going to slow them down ?

Should i chop the gnawed off stem ?

Will it come back ?

Thanks guys !

I have been at war for years with theses bastards and now I have the big flying ones n the greenhouse. They are chewing through the limbs of forming buds! I have lost over ten bud branches on one plant and another had the main cola chewed through. The top of my plant is gone. My celery out in the garden has been stripped of all leaves, beans have lace leaves. I just sprayed with azamax, neem and diamotaceous earth a few days ago and have covered the ground in greenhouse with d. Earth. This is not working... I cannot imagine growing mmj outside. I need to,put out some cuttings but am afraid they would vanish. So what works? I want to KILL them!!

Hot Shot pest strips are the shit for gh pest control. Slow release dichlorvos kills everything at night when you close up gh.

Get "Captain Jack's Dead Bug Brew" concentrate and spray everything, plants, floor, soil then spred "Nolo Bait" on the floor and around the greenhouse then you will be done with the fuckers.

No no no nolo bait around here, not much around here. Expensive online. I flipped out yesterday and spread a line of sevin around the perimeter of gh. Just went out and there was a noticeable lack of hoppers. The one I did see looked pretty out of it. I still have diatomaecious earth all over the floor, plants in pots. Hopefully this will end the damage. Thanks for suggestions and I will look at the store for the hot shots but I do not close gh this time of year. I have an evap cooler that comes on in morning so I can sleep. The fall is a bitch trying keep plants from freezing. I close it up at night and get up early to open and have a heater on a timer.john

I spray my yard with the hose connect bottles of bug killer. Every plant is fine and my porch and yard is always covered with dead grasshoppers.

The capt. Jacks seems to work well but it kills bees so don't spray flowers with it. It will kill for 30 days, possibly wiping out a colony as it kills the queen. Read the label please. Nothing left but a few punks and junkies today. j

It has to be sprayed on the bees to kill them so spray late evening when they have hived up and then it has time to dry make sure there's no standing water that could be contaminated just be real careful .

Capt. Jacks is carbaryl and copper sulfate. If mold isn't a problem carbaryl (sevin) and water will work as a spray and is much cheaper. I have a couple bags of sevin but hadn't used it wanting to stay organic. Is sevin considered organic by anyone but capt jack?
This is the worst garden ever, getting eaten faster that it can grow.
Last Saturday a good part of the back roof of my house blew off and a couple pieces of roof flew 60' over my garage and cut up the greenhouse to make it even more challenging.
