Not saying your a beginner just saying that the argument of not flushing should not even be a debate
I use FF Big Bloom only at the seedlings amount ..and the Killer Tea at 1/4 strength..just makes me feel that at least the roots get a tickle with there waterI use big bloom as well.
I don't think that's conisdered a flush. I don't know though.
A harsh taste is what i don't want. I also don't want it to be harmful.
Flushing sounds the way to go. But is it necessary and will it hurt the plant causing a less of a product...
Dammit, now i am torn. Why do i gotta like rock hard buds?
I'm going to harvest one of the branches off of one, and dry it out while the others do a mini flush of 4 days or so. (if weather permits it) To test it.
Flushing removes the stuff that is good for the plant.
Flushing removes the bad stuff from the plant so you don't ingest it.
That is your opinion. There is no science to back your opinion up.Flushing Absolutely 100% does improve taste
Of course you aren't, buds do not store fertilizer.Im not one to smoke my nutes especially gravity or bushmaster.
You obviously have not done this. If you had, you would not waste time stressing your plants by flushing.do a side by side cut half your plants down and flush the other half . I guarantee the ones you flushed will smoke great and the ash will be clean grey , and the ones you don't flush will taste like shit and burn black ash
Yes, "beginners."I mean this is beginners common sense.
I go organic now and used to grow hydro/coco.Unless you are growing 100% truly organic then yes you need to flush no question
In hydro/coco, the plant needs nutrients with every watering as hydro medium does not have nutes. If you do not give your plant nutes in hydro, it stresses and hurts the plant, period. Its not going to hurt the plant,
by the last week of flower your plants have already developed where they need to be before you flush, pulling the nutes from them the last week will not effect the weight or quality of the flower it will only improve the quality, taste, and aroma.
feed properly and there is no need to flush. Buds do not store fertilizer.Your right on getting shit dialed in
Those are nutrients. Why would you use nutrients while flushing? Flushing soil is crazy.and your right about the molasses or any sugars for that matter , any carbohydrates can be used during flush but may not be necessary.
Buds of any strain do not store fertilizer.Depends on the strain whether it will gather any additional carbs in the last week or not.
Personal Experience, FLushing 100% makes a difference in taste and burn. 4 years ago I had to move at about 9 weeks into flower and when got to new place had to chop them down a week later, I probably could've gone another 8-10 days so never got a chance to really flush. I hated the taste of those buds, 4 different strains and all came out really harsh and all I used was Some tea and mostly FF nutes. I'd never chop without a flush, ever again. The funny part was when a couple of friends smoked that shi. they thught it was too potent cause it made them cough their guts out but then I told them what was really happening, they appreciated the honesty but not the smoked nutes.feed properly and there is no need to flush. Buds do not store fertilizer.
