Great Lakes Genetics ?

Some guys never would have made it in the old days of chuckin cash in an envelope and sending it overseas and waiting 6-8 weeks.

Look how easy one of the new guys thought it would be. Had their card processor shut them down within days. Overloaded on emails and finally decided to farm it out to another bank.

I had roughly 50 orders myself and i am a very small breeder. With glgs full line up how many orders do you think came in over a week? How many emails is that? How many 100 percent correct packages need to be made up?

How long should it take to pull an order, pack freebies and swag, double check order and payment info, package for mail, reply to the emails then update records and accounting? Even if you say something low like 10 minutes per its over 8 hours just for my little 50 orders without eating, bathroom or stretching your legs.

If you think the man aint working you are incorrect.

Finally got my beans in! Ok, they arrived wednesday but I couldn't go get them today. Holy stickers and freebies batman. I'm excited, and honestly a little overwhelmed at the variety of strains I wound up with because I want to run them all but don't have the space.

One little thing though, the sealed foil pack of Stray Fox Sugar High seeds only had 7 in the pack when it was supposed to be 10, and a couple of them are really small and white. Not a big deal as I really only need 2 female seeds, but it was there. The variety and number of freedies I got more than make up for that one being short. The gummy bear from Ice River, supposed to be a 10 pack came with 12, so already evened out.

Big thanks guys, I need to go do some research on the freebies and get some seeds started now.

Everything unfolded for me exactly as I figured it would. As I was waiting to board an outbound flight Monday morning I got the shipping notification for my order. Delivery occurred on Wednesday but I only just opened the box today. I think DB had to use extra tape to keep all the freebies in the box, because the stickers and free gear just kept raining out of the envelope as I unpacked it. I was also pleasantly surprised to find I was among the first 100 paid orders as I sorted through the freebies.

GLG killed it with the freebies again. I’m gonna have to start actively looking for places I can slap all these stickers.

One of the best times of the year was when the Sears Christmas catalogue arrived.

Early 80s... I saw an ad in HIgh Times, ordered a catalog and rented a PO Box and sent cash to Europe for some beans. Some type of “Hawaiian”. Stuff turned out terrible, but exciting to get the beans after a couple months of anticipation.

Back years ago I remember a rumor that if you went to a specific page, an underwear model had an erection. Again, this was the 70s and I didn’t even know what an erection was, lol.

Not an erection but a rather large and flacid member peeking out of a leg opening. Not a rumor and I think it was late 60s. Everyone had the catalog. I had the catalog. Understand that resolution of black and white catalog listings was nothing like today's imaging.

Really nice choices, bud. Killer freebies, as always too. More than a couple piqued my interest. Any idea when you're popping the grapefruit badass, lambs pupil or bd star dawg x's(I have both of these bd's) Do you have a journal?

I've grown the atonic x 3 head(medical dragon). Here's one of 2 ladies. Shitty pic, but it was good meds, for sure.

I keep a journal in Excel so I can track what I’ve done, what happened, and hopefully what to watch out for in the future.

I don’t really have a plan for when I’m popping many of the beans in my pic. I’ve heard nothing but good things about BD’s crosses. Most are going into long term storage, tbh. I’m trying to accumulate good genetics now because I think big cannabis businesses, PACs/special interest groups and further legalization/legislation are going to start making problems for how easy it is to get the fantastic genetics that are readily available today.

Nothing to worry about. This is the way every shipping notification from GLG is. Seems to be a quirk of his current shopping cart/order fulfillment functionality. As long as the freebie is available when you place the order, you can be assured you’ll find them in the package when you receive it.
