Great problem to have but still a problem...

Okay so originally I intended on using a 5 ft tall tent, vegging my plants for 2 months then flowering them.

Problem is, they are growing a whole hell of alot faster than i expected....within the last 8 days they have all grown about 20 inches.

The height of the ceiling of the room is 8 ft, so if i were to keep my plants the recommended 16 inches from the light the tallest they can get is about 6 and a half ft to be safe. I've been trimming large fan leaves and lower leaves in hope to slow the growth but it doesnt seem to be working. I have 71 days left of flowering and i'm pretty certain that I will run out of room at this rate

I'm really looking for some suggestions as to how i might be able to slow the growth without hurting my yield, I was thinking maybe I could just space out my feedings more?

Please someone help.

never tried it before so I'm not going to begin my tests of this on a monster 6' 6" plant, I'ma just let it grow to the ceiling and put the light facing from the side

this sounds so inefficient... are you planning on getting any
weight from this plant after 2 months of veg??? After 4 months
of growing are you going to be getting adequate yields?

I'm using a 600w hps with 10 4ft cfl bulbs and mylar surrounding the plants... light is not an issue I have a light meter and can check everywhere with the bottoms of the plants having an average of 7klumens/sqft and the top are around 30klumens/sqft. I have bud growing EVERYWHERE on these things, I have begun using some seriously late LST but the LST is working I have one of my plants growing in a circle around the other plants and this thing will not slow down It is now at almost 9ft. but I have it undercontrol and will post pics at the end. I have one month left till i harvest the first plant.
