Great White and chemical nutrients

Hey first off thanks so much to everyone here who always helps me! This place is like a college for weed people without the fucking and drinking.

I got drawn into using Myco for my first grow in 10 years. I chose White Shark, now I realize the chemical fertilizers by general hydro I'm using will probably kill the Myco. Will it?

If so, should I just not give it any chemicals for a few weeks?

Otherwise Im thinking of just hitting it once with the power and saying fuck it and putting nutes in at 1/4 or 1/8.

I should mention I'm doing AUTOS in pre-buffered with calmat and practically put through a washing machine before hand to clean it. It is funny how much new information there is on the quest to make perfect plants.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts ya'll,

What medium? Soil?

I use Great White and feed with dry salts. Maybe I'm just killing them off who knows, but I know my plants are super happy so IDC.

Never really used Great White with coco, just when I did a transplant, but after comparing transplants that I used it on to those I didn't, I saw no real difference, so I don't use it anymore! But the NPK Raw Microbes product line grows some awesome plants in coco!

Great White is compatible with GH. I use it and find it keeps my PH stable in the media (I use peat moss) and keeps root rot at bay. There a few ways you can use GW - just follow the directions, but you'll go thru your GW quicker.

If you want to stretch out how far your GW will go, then I've also brewed teas using ~1/2 tsp of GW + 1TBSP Molasses + ~3 gallons of dechlorinated tap water aerated in 5 gallon bucket with an airstone for 24-48hrs. You'll know your tea is good when you get a nice thick layer of foam on top. Or you can inoculate the media with GW and then feed ~1/2 tsp of molasses once a week to feed the microbes and keep them alive. If you're using some sort of reservoir, no molasses (or sugars) in the rez or you'll probably have an outbreak of bad microbes.

If you're just growing a couple plants for yourself, then I've found just following the directions is simple and GW will go a long ways applied at their recommended rate. You can even cut the application rate in half once the plant is established a couple weeks in it's final pot.

GW is great for cloning too, unless your using an areo/hydro cloner.

@SnoopyDoo what you mean GH? And and like airstone like for aquariums? Thanks for the feedback you got me exactly what I needed. Is there any type of molasses I should buy? How long do you reckon 4 ounces of GW lasts you on a few plants?

Thanks again Snoopz

@SnoopyDoo Also when making your tea, do you have to adjust the PH? (im assuming your using chemical nutrients in the tea and feeding at once?)

And if you can amazon link me an ayirstone that is good id really appreciate. Thanks!!

GH = General Hydroponics. Just an aquarium type stone. You need a really strong air pump, you want really turbulent water, not slight bubbling like an aquarium. Molasses can be black strap molasses from a grocery store or I use Hi-Brix molasses from the grow store. 4oz of GW can go a long ways. IIRC, the application rate is 1tsp/10 gallons, 6 tsp's per ounce. We have a 6 plant limit in Colorado and I find that the small GW lasts a long time.

These are the airpump and airstone I use. I think you could get away with a cheaper pump for sure. I just happen to have that pump available from other projects, so that's what I use.
