Personally seen both.. grown and smoked... hso green crack seems to lean more towards the sativa in high and appearance.. great smoke more active and cerebral strong cant remember it in too much detail about aroma and taste etc big frosty buds that pack a punch.. The cali connections version seems to be lean a bit more into the indica in appearance.. smell and aroma are pungent, fresh coffee sweet and choclately.. the high is full head and trippy.. really felt it in my vision haha which was a unique effect that caught me off guard.. seen the cali version recently and yields well too nice dense solid nugs while I remember hso been more fluffy.. both hso and cc will bring you great results worth trying both for that reason you wont be disappointed whichever way you go.

Just my 2 cents if the GC your getting is indica dom. it isnt real GC ive got a cut of GC weve been running for a couple years and yes has fat round indica shaped nugs but the high is anything but indica very racey and energetic great yielder branches out like a mofo and gets wider then it does tall heres one i got going in a 150 gal sp a friend of mine is running cali conns so ill report back with results this cut produces fat round chunky dense nugs that are neon lime green amazing trich coverage bright fat neon orange hairs and reeks of straight mango candy sweet skunky mango smoke that is personally a little to energetic and racey for me makes amazing concentrates as well

hey eastcoastmo how is the mold resistance on the hso greencrack? does it keep the skunky smell and flavor after the cure? im looking at it for commerical reasons as skunk and lemony,lime cirtus flavors are a very easy sale here in my area..thxJesus, this thread went to shit quickly.
I think we can quit the name calling and the dick sizing up as it's just pointless. Everyone has different tastes. I myself prefer skunks etc and green crack is just a skunk x afghani, or super skunk as it was known back in the early 90's. Yep, I've had 20 years growing experience....does that matter? Nope, I still know what I prefer.
So...OP, I'd still go with HSO, cali connect are a shit company that have a lot of trouble with hermies in their strains...up to you which path you want to go down

Hey man, nah the skunky smell turned more sweet on the cure and came through that way in the flavour. I'd go for DNA's lemon skunk if you want the skunky lemon flavour, heard lots of people say it has both!

ya i tried it last year it gets bud rot to easy..prolly just go back to the super lemon haze as its got the most intense lemon smell and flavor ever but still on the hunt for the skunky smell and flavor..i read some info on seedism cheesewreck and a few peeps stated it had the skunky smell..the ass of a dead skunk smell which is what i been looking for..thx for letting me know about the GC

If you want that real dead skunk smell, The Pure from Flying Dutchmen has a pheno that does exactly that, it absolutely reeks, you'll need a few carbon filters for that one!

Only tried the HSO version and kept her for a good while. Fresh mango taste, lovely sat high. Stayed short and finished around the 8 / 9 week.

Green crack and blue dream are just commercial strains. They are not super strong or special in any way.. just fast growing sativas.. Most sativas are pretty but they lack hitting power.. There are better commercial/sativas/buds out there .. WiFi vs Blue Dream? Sour D vs. Green Crack?? I'd personally pick an OG strain over a batch of Blue Dream or Green crack if given the chance. BTW I'm in California and I love Canadian weed. I used to get seeds and grow help from emery back in the day, respect
