Green Dragon tastes terrible!

Blaaaah!

Aftertaste....so nasty.

That's pretty much it.

I tried mixing it with 7up, nothing kills that taste.

Makes me wish I had something left to scorch my lungs with! Smoking, seems so much better by comparison.

I made it with 100 proof vodka rather than Everclear. I can't imagine what it would taste like with Everclear. Probably would have lost it.

In the future, I think I will try to do something else with my stems, maybe try to make some hash...Or maybe even throw them out. Never thought I would do that, but the nastiness commands it.

Anybody else have thoughts on the taste? Maybe my plants just taste extra bad.

Poll question: Is Green Dragon worth the cost and effort?

You used stems? No wonder. The woody parts of the marijuana plants have no redeeming value when it comes to THC content. You should have used trim or kief to make it.

You can use stems to make green dragon. Only stems that had a bud on it, they are still covered in trichomes. A friend of mine used to save up a half o to ounce of stems and make green dragon. Worked like a charm

So you are saying not to use the main stalk? Just use the little branches?

I would only use stems that i can see visible amounts of trichs on. So yeah i wouldnt use the main stalk.

Green Dragon is an alcoholic beverage (like vodka) that has had plant material containing THC soaked in it for a few days to a few weeks.

You end up taking a shot or two and it's like a pot brownie.

I am currently being traumatized by the taste...

THC is soluble in alcohol and fat, so you take weed or stems and put them in the highest proof alcohol you can find. Leave it for a few weeks shaking daily. Take a shot or two of that and youll be feeling pretty damn good.

I think my conclusion is that the low quality vodka combined with the inclusion of the stalk made my Green Dragon nearly undrinkable.

We'll just see if I'm desperate enough to go for it...

The thing is, I'm not even sure it works at all.

Last night was only the 3rd night soaking (flame on). I had about one large shot. After awhile I sort of felt some slight body buzz, but mainly sleepy. I went to sleep hours before I do normally.

Tonight is the 4th night soaking and I haven't had the guts to get down more than a sip. Maybe a good thing, since apparently I would have to drink three or four shots to get anything really good going...If I don't throw up.

Maybe I'll go outside to down it, in the fresh air, with lots of harmless things to vomit on. It will probably look to the neighbors like I'm turning into a werewolf.

I don't know if I'm drunk or high. Since I'm drinking this stuff early and the potency is unknown, I drank a lot.

My stomach is woozy.

If you have to drink 5 shots to get high, how do you know you're high and not drunk?!!!!

My Green Dragon is a failure, sort of.

I take it back. It works a little. Hard to tell what's drunk and what's high. Definitely got crunked.

I found the solution to the taste problem: There is a line of horrible taste that when crossed, you should just drink it straight rather than mixing it. When it tastes horrible, a mix will taste horrible, every little sip. Drink it in a shot followed by a quick swig of water.
