@bigv1976 RE: I have grown several strains from GHS and I reccomend you dont buy them. Almost anything is a better choice but Female Seeds puts out real decent genetics at an unbeatable price.
I must say my Green House Seeds White Widow clearly out produced the Female Seeds White Widow, they were not grown head to head but within a 6 month time range most who sampled the two preferred the GHS over the FS strain.
@bigv1976 RE: Greenhouse (for the most part) are generally garbage genetics. Check out some reviews on Female Seeds and you will see why I reccomend them.
I am still waiting to see the proof of these garbage genetics, lots of talk but no real info to back up the claims.
@vilify RE: G13, ch9, dinafem, dna, gage green, mr nice, paradise, hazeman, sensi, tga, th seeds, wos.
i have a few other breeders i either have strains from, or will be trying strains from, but thats my main list.G-13, Dinafem, and maybe Mr Nice (but he sure is pricey) top this list for me.
@Kush2180 RE: Has anyone grown any strains from Green House Seeds, most of their strains are supposed to yield from 700g - 900g per square meter which i find a bit unbelievable, can anyone confirm getting close to this, also whats the smoke like?
Don't pay any attention to potential yield numbers, but do go with Green House Seed Co. and you will be very surprised.
in the last two years I have ordered genetics from seven different breeders via the attitude seed bank and have now finished growing out one strain from each breeder and can honestly say GHS IMHO has been given a bad name by many here.
I understand some growers here new and old alike may have had some issues with GHS genetics but I think most of the talk around here regarding GHS is FUD to be honest, and has been repeated posted about by users who have never grown out GHS genetics.
The breeders' genetics I have had the most problems with is Barney's - the plants just grow badly and have leaf deformities; and Emerald Triangle - the fem'd Bubba76 was really a Bubba.
Out of the seven breeders I have yet to have a hermie or find any seeds after finishing five grow cycles. Every breeder and every strain WILL have some bad beans and the chances of this INCREASES with feminized seeds but GHS has seem to hold it's own in my small test at least.
The only real way you will know for yourself is to grow out some gear from many different breeders and choose for yourself, different combinations of genetics and environment will yield different results; it's up to us to find what works best together.
