Green Lamp LED

Their marketing claims are outrageous: 900W LED is a 2400W HID replacement...who believes that BS? Beyond that, I'm sure this panel grows flowers...hell, even my cheap chinese Apollo8 re-brand from GreenlampCanada grows dank!

Tho I cannot state any claims of 1.5GpW...never even got that in the old HID days. I'd say I'm approaching 1GpW this current run, after a few runs learning how to grow under LED (they're a different beast, for sure). But the big difference, for me, is the quality of the flowers that grow under LED. There's so much trichome activity under my LED! Its kinda crazy! HID never grew such quality flowers, for me.

And I'm growing organic, soil/soilless mixed medium, growing mainly "medical" strains, so non-commercial, not massive yielding strains.

LoL :D sounds like the description of me :)

I use a apollo and use my own organic soil mix and grow medicine for myself and nobody els

and I never got anything near to 1,5g per watt, both the LEDs and the old HPS give me about 0,5-1g

but I also weigh my Bud`s when dried and cured if I weigh them, and I grow fast finishing strains (7-9 week`s) so total watt used is`t more per gram Im sure

and yes LEDs is different, hardest thing for me is to not keep em too close :D as they make next to no heat

and no, thats not equal to 2400W thats BS, thing with LEDs (IMOO) is that they do grow dank, like you said, the trichomes production is pretty amazing (I also notice the potency is at least the same and often better) and the Bud`s are also as dense, but the LEDs don't spread out the light like a big HID, pretty one directed so need enough panels to cover most of your grow (I use two, one apollo and one cheap LG) so if it was me looking for a new panel I would not look at one "Hugh" panels like that, I would try to find multiply panels to cover my space (like the Hans panel`s)

I wanna join in on the picture fun!!

I'm currently running a 1800W HPS setup (LED was too expensive for this scale), but it can in no way compare to what I have achieved with a home made LED setup.
LED makes the crystals go nuts - they start to cover all of the leaf!

Hi

Anyone used LED's from this company?

If you have would you recommend them?

Im thinking of using one of these for my set up most likely the 800w

Thanks
If you're referring to this light, I'd stay away, looks exactly like the type of LED panel you should stay away from. Missing specs or over-rated, bad design, likely a paper weight. If it's not, maybe post a link to the one you're referring to and someone may be able to give you more specific advice.

That said, there are lots of LED grows and lights capable of growing well. I'd suggest you look around this LED board, subscribe to a few grows, follow them until the end so you can see for yourself which lights can grow and bud well, BEFORE buying.

I'd also suggest filtering out the LED haters like fssalaska who obviously has no experience or data to backup his LED trashing. Get over it, LED's are capable of growing well in the right hands, environment and techniques that are specific to any newer technology. Just be careful you don't buy based on price alone, and again, do some homework.

you can easily grow nice size Cola`s under Chinese LEDs

did my old 600W HPS grow bigger Bud`s, hmmm, well maybe a bit, but it did also use 30% more power, made a lot of heat and required a lot of ventilation, over all yield is about the same and potency is at least the same, plus I just fell more safe running em

IMOO its a question of your goal, if you like me just need to grow enough smoke for yourself and enjoy the hobby LEDs are perfect
Thats nice for led only but I would not call those big yields by HPS standards, but impressive for LED.
