green tint?

this seemed like a somewhat logical idea a few minutes ago; anyone ever considered building a greenhouse and using some sort of dark green translucent materiel to mask what your growing in it?

It may be an issue that plants can't use any light in the green spectrum, filtering all the light through a green material could keep the plants from growing. Though I've never tried it first hand.

yeah, people use green shields on plant's that use low light. like growing something from an overcast climate here in sunny california or something.

Some of the "clear" plastics that are used in greenhouses are perfect. They block out a lot of the damaging UV rays that the plants don't need while they let all of the usable light in. You can be standing 100 feet away and can't make out what type of plants are growing inside. All you can see is a whole bunch of green plants. Just don't let the smell get you busted......
