I heard about green lighting to do maintenance on my plats during dark stages...would green Xmas lights work?

Because due to my job I cant and it messes with my light schedule...its .33 during peak here so i try to-do the best I can to keep my bills down

as long as the spectrum of the light is green you're good

They sell green colored CFLs. I'd use one of those instead if only because I don't think the Xmas lights would be bright enough to really see anything.
